Great place to go when you're looking for an authentic German culinary experience. However, the sausage we got was slightly on the dry side so that's why I don't give higher rating. If you like the pork knuckle with the skin very crispy, go with the classic option rather than the versions that have extra marination (but the flavors of course are very good, just focusing on the crispiness of the outer skin) The Apple Strudel was amazing! MUST order it!! You won't be disappointed with it.

Terrible service, had to order several times drinks to get the order delivered. Missing one dish for meal to be ordered. And after all of that was asking for tip.....

Very nice restaurant with local gastronomic food! Also Good fresh beer! Nice view - The Rhine! Reccomend! I will return definitely! Not expensive!

Good quality food served in a nice atmosphere, the service was always fast and friendly. We were in 4 with our 2 dogs and we could bring them inside with us, so that's definitely a plus for us ☺

我们今天晚上9个人去吃晚餐，因为女生比较多不太能吃很多肉，就说能不能少点一些菜。女跑堂坚持必须每个人最少一个主菜，我们只好按人数点了9个主菜，另外还有沙拉。最后结账的时候，总共306欧元，女跑堂问我小费要不要一起打在账单上，我说可以。但是她完全没有征得我同意，自作主张加了30欧元，并且直接把发票打了出来。非常过分，我根本就不想给她这么多钱，她的服务不值得这些小费。非常差的一次体验！

Nice place, nice food and friendly staff who can speak English. Location was also good near the center. They also have the menu with cheaper price for the group (we were 7people).

It was the first time to try Haxen and black pudding! I like the food. Also, I liked the comfy mood. You can feel Christmas mood as well. Recommend to avoid busy time.

Traditional German cuisine in lovely setting. You won’t be disappointed if you want a tasty authentic meal in a casual atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and helpful with suggestions for appropriate menu variations and quantities for our family group.

I made a reservation here way ahead of time for Friday December 2nd, because I was aware of the Christmas markets & my friend had her birthday. When we arrived we saw the restaurant was packed with bigger groups and the atmosphere was quite nice. Since it was just the 2 of us we were kindly asked to follow the waitress upstairs. Upstairs it felt as if they opened up a small meeting area, put in a couple of tables and chairs and that’s it. The lighting was so bad and we were supposed to sit on a high table on bar chairs with no back seating. Horrible! I asked for a better table downstairs, but there was none. I was very surprised by the lack of service; especially when I’ve made a booking weeks ago to come and enjoy their food. We left in the end! I would not recommend this place nor would I make a reservation again. I guess you have to come with at least 6-10 guests to sit in a nice area.

Nice discovery of German gastronomy. Typical restaurant with beautiful room and terrace, very well located. We had a late lunch, apart from the rush, we appreciated the calm and the attentive service. Belle découverte de la gastronomie allemande. Restaurant typique, avec une belle salle et une terrasse, trés bien situé. Nous avons déjeuner tard, en dehors du rush, nous avons apprécié la calme et le sercvice attentionné.

It was not the night we expected. Very unfriendly and rude. They had a problem with their booking system, busy, no table available and the waiter was rude, walking away from us. Clearly their business is going so well that they have no need for more. Just avoid this place.
