I was surprised this excellent little restaurant tucked away in a corner of Ormiston. The service provided by the staff was excellent, both from the table waitress and the wait time for the food to be served. The waitress was super friendly and efficient. It was a little noisy at first only because of a small group celebrating a birthday but that was ok in the end. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I discovered this gem of a restaurant when we moved back to Ormiston in 2021. We were pleasantly surprised at just how excellent the cuisine is and how professional the staff. The Chef is second to none in our opinion and we have become regulars over the last two years. The menu is changed from time to time to keep the choices interesting. Our experience at Heart of Europe has always been faultless.

Great atmosphere and service. The chicken schnitzel was a little dry. I couldn't finish my meal. Maybe serve with a sauce on the side and make the schnitzel thinner? Good taste though.

Enjoyed a very nice birthday dinner. All courses (3) were very tasty and presented well. Service was great. Very happy. Recommended. Next time I will try the blackboard menu items.

This is our new favourite restaurant! A little out-of-the-way place that is full of surprises. The food is delicious and well presented. The staff are friendly, happy and helpful. The Jazz music sets a relaxing mood, easy listening, great voices and music. A lovely evening out.

What a gem! So glad the restaurant partnered with the fork as I may have never come across it otherwise or had the pleasure and privilege to try this rare find! A definite must do! (I would bold and underline this if I could) It was a 30km drive but well worth it, so much so that I'm thinking about the next time to go there. The cocktails were better than some of the other high end restaurants that cost a small fortune to purchase, while this place did not compromise on quality for price (it was even reasonably priced) The food had so much flavor and cooked to perfection. Had the vol au vent for entree, beef cheeks and the steak for mains and they all delivered to more than satisfaction with generous quantity and high quality. Loved the portion size! Was sad I didn't get to try their dessert because I was happily stuffed. Will be back for that next time. The town would be at a loss if this place was to go. Please try it - I can assure you, you won't regret it.

Awesome bastille night with kids. A rare event, but they loved the menu. Apart from the old guy the service was fantastic. Not sure if he was staff or an attraction. Hats of to the chef it waa a full house

Friday night Jazz and a simple short menu. Escargots in garlic butter - share the dozen. Risotto is a seafood feast. Beautifully Cooke rump steak And do not miss the crème brûlée

Lovely food, Tuesdays is a busy night however the restaurant was understaffed and getting a drink and ordering food was a mission. Staff are friendly when you can get there attention
