About the restaurant Het Zwarte Schaap

The natural way

What a surprising decor to go with this honest and original concept! Het Zwarte Schaap cares about the world, biological producers and taste. As they occupy a corner building you have a good view while you nibble on some delicacies. They organise Beans Week, guest chefs and tastings (cured meat). Next to food they also sell knitwear!

The food is simple but good. Portions aren't very big but prices aren't very high so the value is still quite good. However, The Fork listed it as "child friendly," and they had neither a high chair nor a changing table so I ended up having to feed my baby in her stroller (messy!) and change my baby on a bench outside (REALLY messy!!!). Wasn't impressed with that particular situation...

Don't understand the really good reviews. It was ok. Very small pasta place for 10 euros. No alcohol served. Very small menu. Not impressed.
