A strange evening, when we first walked in we were asked where we would like to sit which I found odd. Once sat down we were not offered any water and people that were seated after us got bread before us and there order taken before us. The mood in the room was extremely serious like the London tube if you made a noise you would feel as if everyone else in the room would turn and look at you as if it's not allowed. The food was amazing different to anything I have ever had before the mix of flavours in ways I have never tasted, we had the rating menu with wines which I would recommend the variety in foods if everything you could hope for.

We had the 9 course meal at Hisop with wine pairing. The meal was innovative, and consistent with bold flavors. The morel ice cream was great, as was the scallops and white asparagus, and the mackerel rice. Some of the cheeses were too strong for our taste and cockles stater was not our favorite, but overall it is a meal worth eating. Very innovative desert - chocolate with yellow pepper sauce and Timut.

Good selection on the tasting menu. Slightly small portions initially but made up for it towards the end. The hake, duck and dessert was especially nice.

Don't carry the full wine menu in stock.
My wife enjoyed her food.
The lamb was terrible.
My impression is the tasting menu gets the best service.
If you need a taxi be prepared to walk the streets as taxi seem to be too busy to go to the restaurant.

Unfortunately, Hisop had failed to register my reservation. No table. My guests were let down, too.

We came at 20:30 when they open and it seems that spanish are used to eat dinner from 10 pm so it was empty.
The service was great and they checked for us if the dishes are dairy mixed with meat.
We had for starter the Foie Gra' which was great and the sardines that were tasty but regular.
For main course we had the picania which was amazing!
Only cost us 50 eur per person with a glass of wine and a water.

Went for lunch and it was quiet. Only 6 covers. Food was good and service excellent. Starter of prawns was very good, though with only 4 prawns was a tad miserly. Main of John Dory was very good - fish was ever so slightly undercooked in the tickest part of the fillet.

The bread was excellent, and there was a watermelon with tarragon and chilli was was lovely. Petit fours included a mint apple in syrup that was amazing.

Fabulous food! Very modern, inventive and flavorful dishes. Would come back in a heartbeat! We all loved what we ordered. The morels with curry and creamy rice with bergamot were divine. Everyone loved the suckling pig too! Would recommend this place

This was one of the best restaurant experiences my husband and I have ever had. The service was professional and the food exceptional. They were prepared to accommodate my inability to eat gluten with no problem. If we are ever in Barcelona again, we will return.

Good place, great food and quite informal service. Was seated next to the ktchen door which could use a little oiling and waiters in and out, kicking the door a little annoying, but a good choice for sure.
