Best Fish&Chips I had in London, weve tried some in some markets but non like this place. After walking down the Soho and seeing the line outside we had to make a reservation and see if the place justifies the line and it definitely does. We had Cod and another bacala which were both amazing. Beside the smell of frying which was mild and obviously you can't dodge inside a restaurant our whole experience was great. Definitely coming back here.

Really liked the vegan fish and chips, good portion size and fab taste and texture! Price adds up if you want any extras like mushy peas/ curry sauce, but it is a central London location so is comparable with other restaurants in the area.

Service is very good and love the vibe of the restaurant. The fish is very delicious but the chips is a bit too hard, otherwise it’d be 10 out of 10. ????

Such a shame.. I had booked this as a birthday evening for our daughter as she loves fish &chips and it was rather disappointing, I think we will continue to have fish & chips at the coast! Reasonable fish & chips but the batter was very soft. We were bought our bill even though we didn’t ask for it, but actually by this time it was time to leave.

We booked a table as other reviews were good and we wanted somewhere to eat in between Harry Potter theatre performances. The battered fish & chips my daughter & I ordered was delicious! The batter was lovely & light and the chips were fresh & tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Food was nice. However though we booked a table we had to wait standing for 20mins+ without no explanation or apologies. When we asked they said the guy who manages booking was absent and there was no booking. At least they should have given us the explanation.

As a coeliac it was a real treat to find a fish and chip restaurant that catered for me. The food was fantastic, and the staff very polite and welcoming. We will be back!

Absolutely love visiting Hobson. I am a coeliac so it's a great piece of mind to know I can eat here safely and enjoy delicious fish & chips. The staff are always so lovely too.

The restaurant was very busy. We made a reservation before going and only had to wait a little while for our table to be ready. Hobson’s was the best cod fish and chips I’ve had in London. Crispy on the outside and soft and juicy inside. The chips were excellent too! The manager was very professional throughout our time at the restaurant. Would definitely return for more!
