Finding a spider in my salad and no apologies despite me being really discreet about it is unacceptable.

Excellent service and great atmosphere.

we had stakes, they were amazing, minus the delay between the starter and the main (we were sitting idle for a little while, but it's worth the wait and the wine was really really good).

they have fixed menu 3 course meal for around 32€. I didn't really like the options available and went for regular options. with 2 bottle of wine, starter, main and dessert, we spend around 180 euro. Not very cheap, but worth the money for the quality of food and the wonderful service we received.

On this visit to Amsterdam we wanted to have a quick but good lunch in the city centre and walked into this place. The3-course menu for 36 € was amazing value, standout codfish salad and a some nice filling chicken breast. This place has nice views but not much of an atmosphere, but more than makes up for it with great food. Will definitely come again for lunch.
