Great Staff, delicious food, nice atmosphere! We really enjoyed our dinner there! We’lldefinitely go back! Thumbs up, all the way!
i came back to Isidoro after 20 years i was away from Rome and found the great quality amatriciana i remembered. my daughter had a filet and it was excellent. Great place and I am sure we will be back again.
Really good place
The Special Offer of multiple different pastas has been THE highlight of our stay in Italy! Service was excellent and House red wine also of very good quality Worth hunting down off the main streets of Rome!
This restaurant was a great find! Our waiter, Andrea, was amazing and so welcoming as if we were family. His recommendations on our wine choice, appetizers and main course were superb. A cute little restaurant off the beaten path. Authentic and so good! Highly recommended if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.
Semplice, allegro e genuino.
Staff adorabile, simpatici e cordiali. Cena da cento e lode.
Friendly great food and will return.
So worth it. They were extremely kind and made great recommendations. Not over priced and no one standing outside trying to get you to come in. Amazing!
The lobster in the linguine and lobster was very fishy tasting and not very appetizing. The waiter forgot to bring us our wine and we had to ask again. Not a lot of people there which made the atmosphere average.
Amazing food, the pasta and appetizer samplers in particular were superb.
Food was great and the service also. They spoke English well and had a menu in English also which helped us chose a fabulous meal.
the food was very good. the real problem was with the service. we were ignored from the moment we got to our table and basically had to beg for anything. they got our order wrong and I get that mistakes can happen but the staff just ignored us for half an hour after our first course was taken. even getting the bill took forever
The food was good and the waitress gave us a celebration drink for our engagement we had tonight which was a nice touch
Returned after 12 years with a group of friends and not disappointed. Friday night meal with welcoming service, great food, great wine. and excellent value..
Come for the staff not for the food. The staff were wonderful, the food ...not so much. We had 4 of us for dinner. One ordered the 'special" beef rib, it was tough. The other three chose the 4 pasta. All of the pasta was undercooked. The chef was at a disadvantage as one of our family is lactose intolerant. But that does not excuse the underdone pasta.A disappointment to have the worst meal the last night of out 4 week holiday in Italy.
Group of 7: Meals were exceptional from the grouped pasta dishes to individual starters and entrees. Waiter(s) were courteous and helpful in communicating the menu and specials for the evening. Price(s) were surprisingly economical considering the amount of food and expert preparation.... a true value in Rome and an easy, short walk for our group from the Mercure Toma Centro Colloseo to the restaurant.
Nice place and the starter was lovely as was the dessert. The main was a little less enjoyable sadlyz The service was very good though and certainly was not the worst meal we have had. Our expectations were probably a little high given the reviews.
We were welcomed quickly. Food was good but the service was lacking.
The service and atmosphere were fine. We chose the 5 pasta plate meal option, where the chef decided to cook 5 pasta "surprise" dishes. We ended up with 1 gnocchi, 1 seafood pasta, 1 broccoli pasta, a carbonara and a creamy penne dish. Unfortunately, we are not fans of gnocchi or seafood. The dishes were a bit too salty for our taste. The 1L carafe of house wine was good value at 9 euros. Not a disaster meal, but nothing to write home about either.
Absolutely beautiful food and the service was brilliant. Highly recommend!! I had the seafood it was beautiful we booked a second night here as it was that good !
the pasta tasting was great. there was a bad thunderstorm so none of the taxis were coming to pick us up and they stayed around with us until the rain died down
All'inizio ho pensato al classico ristorante per turisti, considerando la vicinanza al Colosseo.... Sono stato stupito del contrario, ottima accoglienza, piatti cucinati bene, buoni i dolci. sicuramente ci torno.
One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. I arrived with my partner at 20:00 and till the main course there wasn't too many people and it was OK, the food wasn't anything out of the world but not bad neither. Once people arrived they totally ignored us. I needed to call the waitress 2 times for the dessert menu and he ignored me the two times. I've waited 1 and a half hours for him to come back. He only took care of the Italian customers there giving a shifty service to the tourist. I needed to stand up and ask for.the check to the reception and pay there. Definitely the worst restaurant I've ever been. They should be ashamed of giving such a bad service.
Very nice place
Good food at a very reasonable price!
This restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious and even more importantly (for this budget conscious guy) is that the prices are reasonable. Their homemade pasta is out of this world. Try the ravioli and spaghetti carbonara!
We definitely had a meal to remember. The mixed raw seafood appetizer was excellent. The restaurant is known for their pasta tasting menu, which allows 2 or more people to taste 2-10 pastas. We tried 4 and all were dekicious. The wine selection is good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very busy. We had a reservation and got in right away, but if you don't have one, you could be turned away.
The food here is gastronomic, very refined and subtle. Loved every single dish I ate. As for the service, they are pretty efficient and can speak English. Only downside was the restroom's pungent smell (super clean however) that might be coming from the bad sewer system
I dined solo on a Saturday evening at 8pm. At first I was worried as there were few diners, an none of them Italian. By 9:30 the restaurant was packed and plenty of Italians in the mix. With so many diners I felt the restaurant was short staffed as I saw three servers for more than 60 people. I started with pasta Cacio & Pepe which was very well prepared. For my main I ordered a steak with mushroom sauce. The waiter suggested upgrading from the usual canned mushrooms to fresh mushrooms. He didn't know the cost, but said 2 to 3 euro, which turned out to be 4 euro. The steak was well prepared, but given the up charge for fresh mushrooms there was a disappointing quantity of them. Desert was a chocolate soufflé which was just ok. I did receive a glass of Lemoncello on the house. With cover, a small bottle of mineral wate and a glass of wine the meal rang up at 41.50 which seemed high to me.
Great food, service was good but a little uneven. Nice reasonable prices and all in all a really good value.
Che dire....a due passi dal Colosseo ,ambiente carino, camerieri gentili e solerti ,prezzi onesti e non da ultimo si mangia bene.
