We had a fabulous time in this beautifully romantic setting. The staff were warm and very welcoming, food and service was outstanding, and we had a great conversation about France with Monsieur Matthias (hotel boss) and a lovely gentleman. Overall, it was a wholesome experience, and I would definitely recommend.

The food was stunning - the best in Gourdon by far! The dining room was spotlessly clean and really elegant. Fabulous and very fairly-priced wine list. Service was impeccable. Already looking forward to my next visit, and the next, and the next!

The environment was beautiful. The food was good and beautifully presented. The single waiter explained every course and was clearly a well-trained and highly experienced waiter who ensured we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, because he was the lone waiter, the time between each course was lengthy. It was an hour before we were served our starter. All in all we were at our table for over three hours. We don't mind waiting for freshly cooked food, but an hour's wait for our starter was too long.

We had not been here before, although had tried on several occasions. It was worth the wait. Food was good, plus the amuse-bouche, as well as the 25cl carafe of Brouilly to go with the special - Quercy lamb cutlets. The portion size was verging on American, and a three course meal will fill pretty much anyone up. Service was discreet and pretty efficient. Will definitely be returning.
