Excellent
Restaurant traditionnel, 2 menus complets et une carte Plats régionaux maison. Excellente terrine de foie gras, gésiers et prune????????Service rapide et efficace.
We've been twice and loved it both times!
The sort of classy but unfussy restaurant France does better than anyone else. Friendly, efficient service and excellent simple food at bargain prices (not much more than a fast food chain or a UK pub.) And on a very hot day, it was also a beautifully cool sanctuary. So we came back a week later and it was just as good.
A lovely evening of delicious food in a very lovely setting
This is an elegant restaurant. The crisp linen table cloths sparkling tableware.attention to detail. The menu was innovative making a selection difficult. My meal was delicious . Interesting ,the wine selection was not expensive. The recommendation was a wine costing 14 euros. It was really good. A memorable night . This restaurant scores highly on ambience. Attention to detail. Service and food. Thankyou.
Starters delicious, mains average, presentation homely not as expected with the sort of fine dining service shown I.e telling you details of each plate, knife and fork placement etc. This made it expensive also €5 supplement on a pork chop. Old fashioned, stuffy dining room in a lovely Logis,. Inexperienced nervous young staff who were very nice. Nice waitress in charge. Sorry would not recommend or return.
Lovely setting and delicious food with nice extras. We were too full for dessert but received a tiny creme brulee with our coffee. Just the right touch.
The best meal we have had on our holiday this year and really excellent value. Top class table setting, service and food. My wife and I were most satisfied and without doubt will return.
Well, what can I say? The food was excellent. The portion of scallops (main dish) was absurdly small. The filet was really big. There are menus which has a price advantage, but if you mix the menus or leave something out, then you end up paying more! And the decor was nice once, now it just needs modernization. So, all in all, excellent cooking, weird pricing, but we will not come there again.
