Discovered this restaurant on the internet and booked as we were a party of 8. Arrived early but not a problem and we were well looked after and food was excellent. The set menu at 26 euros was fabulous. The 39 euros menu was excellent too. The fois gras was superb as was the duck parmentier and the tiramisu one of the best I have tried. Would recommend highly

A special treat, excellence on all parts. A great place for a solo-traveler to enjoy a peaceful evening in the Dordogne valley area. The service was also excellent and the Bordeaux rouge and filet hit the spot after a day exploring the grottes.

We had a wonderful lunch at this very pretty restaurant. The Staff were professional but very friendly and welcoming. Our lunches were delightful and plentiful. The deserts and coffee were great too. Definitely worth a visit .

Came for a 2nd time as we were impressed by the creativity and hospitality. Unfortunately found that was not a reoccurring experience. Tartare is wonderful and service unpredictable. Management wanted to close after spending 400 euros in 2 nights and banged on the bathroom door to pay bill after waiting at desk behind families checking in. I live in the area and expect more. I suggest mid week and off season.

Yes, we had a couple of romantic meals here during our visit to Les Eyzies … even after 50 + years of married life. Yes the service is slow, but there are lots of nibbles, and fresh cooked food does take a bit longer, it is worth the wait. A nice menu for a couple of visits, but unless they change it regularly it could become repetitive. The staff were very friendly and ready for a laugh. We met the chef who certainly knew what he was doing … although he had not heard of Rick Stein … I soon put that right.
