Owner and Chef Fabio greeted us warmly and set about making our dining experience with him the perfect ending to a beautiful week staying on Lake Como! Delicious food and wine, and a stunning location, overlooked by the "largest magnolia tree in the world" on the terrace by the lake...a full bella luna to top it all off! Grazie mille!

The restaurant is lovely seated close to the lake, next to a giant magnolia tree. It has a nice, informal atmosphere. The menu is concise, but with great italian dishes.

Fabio and his staff could not have been nicer! Excellent food and wine. For those from the U.S., Fabio lived in San Diego for a few years. Highly recommend.

The location is great. They have a terrace very close to the lake.
The service was nice. A pity for us to not know Italian as the staff was more talkative to the natives.
The owner, Fabio, came to say hello and suggested a wine for the cheese platter.
I found that some of the portions like the antipasti or the cheese platter were very small. Unfortunately, the food was not as outstanding as I was expecting...

First meal out of our honeymoon and it didn’t disappoint. We had the risotto and the lake fish spaghetti. Both were fantastic. Service was excellent and setting beautiful. The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had, made fresh by the chef that morning (he came and had a chat). Finished off with a spot of limoncello. All round divine, if you’re in the area you must go here!

Fish was. NOT fresh. Tomato sauce on gnocchi tasted as if it came straight from a can. Atmosphere was fairly nice - that's the only positive thing I can say.

Lovely food and a really present service from the staff, whom loved to chat and tell about the food and the neighbourhood.

Best part of the stay there was without a doubt the location of the restaurant - tugged away from the street and tourits but at a really small square in front of the biggest magnolia tree We've ever seen and with a view to the beautiful Como Lake!
