8/10The food is amazing, but with ordering done via a tablet, there's almost no interaction with the staff. They served the food and drinks quickly and were pleasant, but I missed the personal touch. If you're after great authentic fast food, this is the place for you. However, if you want fun and engagement for a special occasion, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

5/10For a long time, my friends and I really like to go to hot king to have dinner, mainly for the delicious food. But, this time when we go, we find out that the tastes are totally different. I have no idea whether there are changes of chefs or whether because of prepaid dishes. But I will say totally dissatisfied.

8.5/10It's one of my favorite restaurants from Chinatown. The food is authentic and delicious. The service is in a class of its own: you get the ordered drink in less than 30sec. They also have an elegant ambiance which is not that common with Chinese restaurants.

7/10The dish Sichuan Boiled Fish, or shui zhu yu in Chinese was not spicy at all, even though we chose normal level spicy. Other dishes were authentic.

10/10We hardly go to Chinatown to look for food, but this restaurant was highly recommended by a friend. On my first visit, I impressed with the overall ambience and food quality. The food portion was generous and very extremely "ma la" and tasty. I would recommend to anyone who would like to try a different chinese cuisine, We have so far dined at Hot King three times already, will definitely be back. For those who like hot pot, do check with the restaurant if you need to order in advance, we brought a friend recently to dine, and to our disappointment, their hot pot was "sold out" very quickly.

10/10A great restaurant. The decor is beautiful and elegant. The food is delicious, the cuisine is that of Szechuan, but there are also many classical Chinese dishes. The waiters are attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

9.5/10Very nice traditional Chinese restaurant. Prices are good, portions are large. Recommend to buy 2 to 3 dishes for two person dinner. Also recommend to reserve in advance.

6/10We’ve been there a couple times. Usually the food is great and the staff is so so. This time our crispy fried beans were cold and not crispy. The food generally wasnt as tasteful as it normally is. Hopefully just a bad day in the kitchen.

8/10Beef and lamb are bit over cooked, and the drink is pricey ( a pot of tea is €7 but other Chinese restaurants I have been to in nl all are below €5, since it’s just some tea leaves with boiled water, I consider €7 is too much). For the rest is nice.
