A pleasant venue, popular with the locals (though quiet in this holiday period) which presents generous helpings of good, solid, traditional cooking. Slightly old-fashioned in some respects, but for those who get irritated with today's fads (gone tomorrow) and the adventurous (not to say hazardous) excursions of fusion cooking, it's very welcome. Respectable wine list.
