Hôtel Restaurant Carcarille

The restaurant offers a lovely menu with a nice mix of meat and fish. The food from entree to dessert was absolutely delicious. The wine menu also has a lot to offer from local wine yards of Luberon and Ventoux regions. Also, great environment for children!

Worst I have ever been treated in a restaurant! Manager would not help us or staff understand the French menu. Manager would not give us a check. When we went to the register, he told us we needed to wait longer. Other patrons seemed to be treated respectfully. Service staff was excellent.

Lovely atmosphere.

We were seated at a nice table by the fountain. The setting is sublime with beautiful well lit trees and the lights of Gordes in the background. Marie was our server and was a delight. She recommended two different wines that were full bodied and tasty. The amuse bouche was a beer gel with feta that I want as a full meal. The starters were all delicious but the stuffed zucchini flowers with ricotta cheese in an amazing tomato soup was outstanding. My main was Monk fish with potato and onion in a memorably tasty broth. The steak with morels was perfectly cooked. The dessert of raspberries covered with whites chocolate meringue was quite the spectacular finish to a memorable meal. From the setting to the service to the meal, I can only give my biggest rave. This is a great place to eat!!!

Nice setting on a clear Provençal evening - easy parking Had to wait about 20 minutes to be served and really not enough staff for number of tables but maitre dit got it together and the meal was very nice Not cheap for a formula meal compared to other places -about 100 euros for 2 with just a glass of wine each

Excellent!

We LOVED the restaurant. We both had a menu option for dinner with starter, main, cheese (never to be missed in France) and dessert. Foie gras (starter) and beef with morilles sauce and venison (mains we chose) were perfect. The epoisse cheese was wonderfully "affiné". It's really worth it. The only suggestion: signs indicating the way to the restaurant from the parking area. It took us some time to get to the right door.
