Beautiful atmosphere. Food is delicious and inventive and encompasses vegetarian as well as meat/fish options. Italian with a twist. Good selection of Italian wines. Service is great. Large table for 10-12 people in a home dining room setting had a wonderful ambience.

It's a lovely setting and ambience, with a cosy feel without being too close. The staff were very friendly, with the chef coming out to the front occasionally. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful with recommendations for food and wine. The food was absolutely delicious throughout. I had the burrata and the risotto, both were delicious. Would definitely go back

Beautiful little restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and an intimate vibe, equally at home for a romantic two-up or a family/friends gathering. Food was great and the inclusion of a full vegetarian menu to complement the main menu is great to see (and immediately opens up the restaurant to a wider audience). Downsides: the wine list is restrictive and unimaginative, and the service could have been better (we were forgotten, even though we were the first people to arrive, and they also forgot that we were there celebrating a birthday... something I had phoned to remind them about that afternoon). The downsides wouldn't stop us going again though... the menu and setting is too interesting to ignore.

House Bar & Bistrot was fantastic, a lovely venue, intimate, amazing food, great staff. Would highly recommend it. The pasta and bread are all home made and exquisite. We went for my daughter's 2)th birthday and it was a true delight thank you

We've been here a few times and we are never disappointed. The staff are extremely friendly and every dish I've tried has been delicious, though I reserve a special place in my heart for the burrata with a side of freshly baked bread. Yum!

House Bar & Bistrot is an absolute gem. Food is fresh and delicious. Service is great and you feel at home there. The inside is warm and welcoming on a cold winters night and the balcony is fantastic on a warm summer night.

My wife took me there for my birthday a couple of weeks ago & it was excellent. I had no hesitation in booking the restaruant again, and it was just as good on the second occasion. We'll be back.

Good food, friendly service, warm atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Many vegetarian options, but the fish dishes were apparently excellent.

It is worth the effort of finding this establishment in the back streets of the Cross. It is a small space so essential to book on the weekend. The menu is not huge but what they offer shows originality & there was a whole page of vegetarian options. The broccoli bread was very unique & the squid ink pasta delicious. The affogato martini was a nice way to end the meal. The only thing that was off putting was the noise from the large group at the next table. This is unavoidable in a place this size. The service was excellent.

Great cosy space with a ever changing menu a sufficiant drinks list. Service is friendly and professional and the food is excellent. The only problem I found in this restaurant was I wanted every thing on the menu making it hard to choose. This local is a true Gem in the area and look forward to our next neal there.

Great first time experience. Fantastic innovative well priced food and small but interesting wine list. Stand out performance from the floor staff to be friendly, helpful and there when you needed them. Hand written bill...love it!

The best restaurant I've been to in a long time, and yes I do mean before Corona! Beautiful setting in an old terrace house, superb food, great for vegetarians, in fact a whole page for us! Very friendly knowledgeable waitress, and cute chefs in open kitchen. Definitely recommend this one.

We especially love the extensive vegeterian menu (we are meat eaters) made with fresh seasonal produce from the farm and delicious cheeses and handmade pastas.
