The food was absolutely delicious and the plating was stunning. We enjoyed trying French cuisine on our first night in Paris and the staff was attentive and helpful when we struggled with deciphering part of the menu.

Even though we booked a table there was none available when we arrived. We had to wait 15minutes. The food was acceptable but mine was cold. I would not order steak from there again. The chocolate fondant was really delicious but the lemon tart was just too tarte for me. The service was friendly.

The receptionist advised this small lovely local bistro, so we went the bistro without booking. Unfortunately the bistro was fully booked, so we booked a table for another night. We reserved a table at 8pm, but our table was not ready yet. We waited for 40 min until we could order. However, the waitress was so nice to us and gave her recommendation. We selected seafood as main and homemade cake as desert. The meals were fantastic and amazingly reasonable price! We had the best dinner during our stay in Paris. The best bistro!!!

Service was good, friendly and efficient.

Starter of beef carpaccio was very good but main of Gambas was slightly disappointing. The prawns were slightly overcooked and the accompanying rice was a little dull and unimaginative.

Having lived in Paris for two years and worked hard to discover special restaurants, it is safe to say Hugo is one of my absolute favourites.
Perfect service, beautiful little restaurant and INCREDIBLE FOOD. Honestly could not sing its praises more.
Amazing food, with fruits and beautiful sauces, very special and unique to this restaurant. Recommend it to everyone

This restaurant is a short walk from Gare du Nord, which was convenient for my friend's arrival from London. The staff are friendly and efficient. The menu has a wide selection of French dishes and some specials of the day. It was difficult to decide because everything sounded delicious. We both had the magret de canard. It was delicious and well-presented. It was beyond the standard magret de canard- the sauce was nicely caramelised and there was also mustard and pesto on the plate for extra flavour. The chocolate fondant was moist and tasty too. It is a small restaurant so probably not too noisy- we were there on a Sunday night from 9-11 PM so it was not busy. We would go back!
