I used to and still do enjoy lunch at hungry bear. It seems they have changed their lunch menu which means you have to have a side a sweet option where I preferred being able to choose. Also the savoury options now seem smaller and with less options available and you also cannot use the discount code for this lunch menu which is really disappointing.

I always love going to Hungry Bear - great terrace. I feel the waiter was a little over worked as we didn't receive menus. There was a QR code already on the table so we ordered using that. The problem was we later found out there was a lunch time menu that we would have preferred (but was not available through the QR code). Thats all though. Our lunch was delicious but would have liked the option..

Great selection of dishes with quality products. Love the brunch option, which is also available during the week. Friendly and welcoming staff. The service was quick and very good. We will come back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great place for lunch with excellent, friendly service! We loved our Aubergines for our main course and banana bread for dessert. Delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

Definitely the best place to have a healthy and tasty brunch in Lausanne ! Highly recommend it. The staff is really nice and food is incredible. You should go for the Courgette Pancakes and Avocado Toast. Yummy

While the food is decent, it is very overpriced, even for Lausanne. Also, the tables are so close together that you cannot have a conversation without being distracted by the people that the next table. This seems to be a place catering to co-working more than a restaurant, as we were seated at the window bar table because the actual tables were occupied by people working on their laptops.

Exquisite - one word to define the Hungry Bear. A place that invites you to feel as welcomed and cozy as in your own living room, while tasting goodies, you would only find in a fancy restaurant. Our favorite place for all our events (family and corporate), providing friendly and great service, and amazing dishes. A must "go to" place when in Vaud.
