About the restaurant I DDuje Scugnizzi

All was great. We did our best with the Italian menus, but soon they took pity and gave us English ones. Food was great, meatballs particularly good. Service charming, mildly flirty and alert to our needs (offering to fillet sea bass, before we asked).

My family and I enjoyed our meal. My girlfriend and thought our fish was very good. My dad had spaghetti and meatballs and my mom had a pizza. All very tasty. The location is convenient to many attractions and is on a side street just a block away from Castel Nuovo, which helps reduce noise (we ate outside). The staff was very attentive and friendly.

Great food and good service. I wanted something that wasn't on the menu and they were more than happy to make it for me. Well done and keep up the good work.

The waiter was so awful that he did not give us enough time to see the menu although we asked him more time. When he came to our table again 1-2mins later, we said the same thing and he said something in Italian which we couldn't understand. It was insulting. Never never recommend to anyone.

The pizza was OK, but the lasagna and the carbonara were both pretty bad. The service was both slow and grudging. Not a great experience

Not my cup of tea. The pizza with the name of the restaurant was heavy on the stomach - it missed "fraîcheur".

Food was fine, didn't distinguish itself from other Neopolitan restaurants, but that bar is quite high. Spaghetti carbonara, pizza diavola good. House salad a little uninspiring.

Service was poor. Slow and not very friendly. I think they were busier than they expected for a Monday night. We arrived at 9.10pm and they told us the one empty table was reserved and to come back in 30 mins. We came back and ithe same table was still open. The Fork showed them as having availability. The above meal took nearly two hours. 45 mins of that was trying to pay. We skipped dessert, coffee etc. because we had just been looking for a quick bite to eat.

Food was lovely. Menu was mostly in Italian. Staff had very little English and were very haphazard. We eventually figured out the menu and ordered. Mixed fruit for dessert was 2 small slices of melon and a sliced kiwi! We waited 15 minutes for coffe which didn't arrive and they billed us for it. Don't think we would visit again.

This was a very attractive restaurant in a good location for visiting at night. The frittura a l'Italiano was excellent. The pizzas were very good, but not exceptional. There was no olio piccante which seems to be the norm in Naples.

A real find with a more upmarket feel than some places we've been to in Naples. Delicious food, good house wine and attentive staff.
