The food was awesome. We ate grilled dishes. It was pricey though. The service was very quick. The ambience was good and lively. Modern decor, but I'm not a fan of those coloured lights in ceiling.

Hey Balaji,

Groet,
Ichi-E

Ichi-E is a fairly good restaurant and the best option around the Bijmer Arena area. Perfect for just before the movies or before a concert. The sushi is tasty and they do attempt some creative sushi by using ingredients you would not normally expect - and quite often it works! Their menu presents the choices really nicely and has tasteful photos that give you an idea of what you are ordering. The choices are very varied, from sushi to bento boxes, noodles, tempura and teppanyaki. In general all very taste. Be aware however that on big event nights they have an events menu which is a much condensed version of their regular menu, with limited choices - so if you come especially here for the restaurant make sure you call before to check whether they have an event menu that night or you may be disappointed. The good thing is they are also open for lunch. Service is friendly, decor is nice.
