Overall the food and drinks were really excellent, some items like the asparagus wrapped in pork belly were amazing. Although the portion sizes are small. You’d come here more so for the experience than the quantity of the food.

Really nice little tucked away restaurant, great quality food and extensive drink menu. The only problem was the table seating, which is a little awkward and uncomfortable, not enough to stop us from coming back for more though. Loved the chicken oysters...

First visit and loved it. Food was fabulous and sharing is the way to go. Usually two serves to a plate however there were three of us so they accommodated us with three serves which was appreciated. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff (especially Emily and the young man with the Liverpool accent whose name escapes me). Food comes out as each dish is ready so recommend ordering quite a few at the beginning so you are not waiting as the grill can get busy. Order extra later if you’re still hungry - we did as we couldn’t restrain ourselves as it was that good and dessert was divine and I don’t usually eat dessert. It wasn’t the most inexpensive dinner but it was satisfying, tasty and we had no complaints therefore well worth the money.

Took some friends out for dinner here. Food was great. Atmosphere sitting at the bar overlooking the chef was also pretty cool. But the real standout for me was their whisky bar. For any whisky drinkers out there, this place has some serious cred. I'm talking gems like the Yamazaki 2016 Sherry Cask. I mean, who even finds something like that, let alone stock it for people to experience. To the owner, Bravo!

I think they specialise in chicken, so probably stick with chicken based meals. Cocktails were great.

About the restaurant

After our many adventures through Japan, we developed a serious addiction to the abundance of delicious Yakitori Bars scatted throughout each area. The smell,

the taste and the sound of the burning chicken juices dripping onto piping hot Binchotan charcoal.... Ahhhhh... I'm hungry just thinking about it!!!
