Very warm and welcoming service. Great wine pairing with the food. For starters we had baked tuscan cheese and beef tartare, both were excellent. The second dishes were two different and both very good homemade pastas. One was with fresh black truffle, which wasn’t as aromatic as it should be, but it was the end of season for summer truffles. At least they didn’t try to cheat and “enhance” the dish with some conserved tartufata sauce or some truffles olive oil. For main dish we had beef tagliata and guineafowl. I preferred the latter, since the tagliata could be better/softer. Desert was a nice mixed plate of different traditional tuscan deserts, which were all very good. Overall satisfied and very full for a great price. PS: the prices on the spot were a bit different than the ones published on the Fork menu, but nonetheless still very good P/P.
This restaurant is a secret tip. Excelent typical italian food cooked from the mom and a very warm and sympathetic son who knew everything about good food and wine. We come back for shure!
