Very.nice place, super polite and helpful staff and the food is simply amazing. Scampi were delicious as well as pasta with lobster. And small focaccia with cheese was super good too. We dined twice in Il Boschetto and will for sure come back again if we are in the area. Thank you very much, il Boschetto, for two beautiful evenings we had!

Im living abroad but when I come back to my hometown I always try to eat with my family in this restaurant. You can eat all the best from Liguria/Genoa/Recco, from typical pasta (e.g. pesto) to the the focaccia al formaggio di Recco and the rest like pizza, fish and meat. You have a sufficient selection of dishes. Dont forget to try any desserts...they are homemade. This is a family restaurant :) Thank you!

First impression when we entered nearly made us want to leave - the owner didn’t even greet us before trying to place us at an awful table. Then he told us to find our own table but we needed to wear our masks, which isn’t a problem BUT he walked around all night with his masks below nose and sometimes even below his mouth! Fish antipasti scored a clear 10, the seafood risotto was a 5, pesche fritto misto 6-7 because you could taste the old oil , the frutta di bosco crostato was a 10 - lovely biscuit base and just right amount of cream base and fruit. The waiter who served us was opposite to the owner - he was friendly attentive and professional AND always conscious about his mask. Summary a mixed experience I wouldn’t rush back there however I could try it again.

Cozy restaurant with more than average price , great service and quality food. The food were served on time and the waiter took good care. I would say the only con will be the lack of parking space.
