Fantastic food and very attentive staff. The wines are also top notch. And for a one star Michelin restaurant is a very good value. It's definitely worth looking for it

Cherry on top of my experience in sorrento. Amazing food with amazing service. Definitely recommend to anyone else coming to sorrento. I did the tasting menu but my favorite was their pre-dessert, something I have never heard of.

Over the past 6 weeks we have eaten at 14 Michelin stared restaurants totaling 24 stars. Maybe we have become a little jaded because of all the excellent meals we have had however we felt the 10 course menu was uninspired somewhat tasteless and lacking in finesse. The atmosphere was charming and the wait staff was excellent. Maybe we were there on an off day.

Absolutely superb restaurant! The service was excellent, really attentive but not too formal. Food was also excellent, a level above every other restaurant in town, don’t miss it!

Parts of the meal were very nice and others did not meet my expectations for a restaurant of this calibre. Presentation was lovely and the amount of food served was satisfactory. The atmosphere was interesting although the television on the wall did not fit the theme. Service was very good.

Wife’s birthday meal, staff were amazing & extremely knowledgeable, the food was incredible, will definitely be coming again when we visit next year. We had the fish tasting menu and accompanying wines, some of the best food I’ve ever had.

The food was correct. Service could be improved: the waiters don’t speak enough English, and I think it got in the way when we ordered. We asked for the soufflé at the beginning of the meal because it takes ~40mins to prepare, and they completely forgot about it until the very end of the meal, which meant waiting extra time after an already long meal (~3hrs)

We had been to Il Buco seven years ago on our 30th wedding anniversary and always hoped to return. The opportunity came with a retirement trip around Italy by train in September. Il Buco, as expected, proved to be a highlight. We had the Chef's Choice 10 course tasting menu with wine pairing and experienced amazing flavours and presentation. Our hosts in the restaurant were most attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for the head waiter. If you can, go!

Il Buco was a wonderful place to eat. From the owner being present at all times, to the attentive staff and the sublime food. We had the seafood tasting menu, which was worth every Euro. Beautiful dining room under the stone vaulted ceiling only enhanced the atmosphere.

Excellent meal! We did the Trust Me tasting menu with wine accompaniment. Each course was unique and delicious - husband especially loved the beef cheeks and I loved the pasta. Local wines all delicious. Service was leisurely, attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food and top notch service to mark our last night in Sorrento. 5 of us chose from the a la carte menu - the food was all top quality and, in particular, the octopus and the pork were excellent.

One of our best meals in Italy and we were here with our high school age children! Service, quality of food and atmosphere was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and go again if in sorrento!

Wonderful dining experience featuring a 6-course chef curated tasting and excellent service. Very accommodating to our group of 4 that included two pescatarians. We appreciated to chef who came out to the table and spoke with us several times. He was a gem.
