The meal of the trip. It was a TripAdvisor find and it was better than expected. The atmosphere. The food. Did I mention THE FOOD!!! The owner shared the history of this incredible building. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. My husband is a foody and was very impressed.

The place is amazing, with a very special atmosphere, really pleasant and unique. When you pass the door you know it’s going to be something special. The food is great, unlike anything else we tasted in Italy. Great desserts! Service, knowing that we are being charged for service, could be a little nicer, we missed some warmth and and smiles on the faces, but everything else was great.

I would say overall was a good experience. 2 comments only: 1. After the first serving, expect to refill your own glass with wine or sparkling wine. 2. Beef Carpatio was more like mortadella.

The folks that received us at The Devil’s Holy Water were extremely nice and helpful. They made sure we were well cared for and got us a return taxi at meals end. The figs and Parma ham were exceptional. The comped risotto was fantastic. The meaty first course pasta was one of the better courses of our trip savory and full of flavor. The meat in the second course was done perfect. The restaurant itself is a work of art much like the art of service the chef and staff exhibit in everything they do. Do not miss this hilltop treasure on your visit to Como. We will be back.

Wonderful setting, service and food to match. I had the Orange ragu pasta, which was tasty as it was different.. The Rosini was a triumph and the best piece of meat I've had in a long time. Cooked to perfection, pink in the middle, crispy on the outside, So tender, it melted in the mouth. Wife had the stuffed Ravoli with Truffles which went down extremely well. Detailed wine list and reasonably priced. Free limoncello's to boot.. Would highly recommend and should we be in Como again, would definitely return.

Luogo antico, perfettamente ristrutturato mantenendo l'atmosfera d'altri tempi, con una cucina prevalentemente di carne, cucinata alla perfezione, presentata con gusto e servita con cordialità. Dolci ottimi e buon rapporto qualità prezzo: ad esempio, un calice di prosecco 4€, dessert abbondanti 8€, e coperto compreso. Musica soffusa e misure di sicurezza totalmente rispettate. Ci torneremo!
