Although osome dishes were very good, one was so salty it couldn't be eaten. They rectified at the bill, however service was very inconsistent and we had to go and get someone as we were left alone without anyone coming for over half an hour. Shame as I wanted to like it but expected more. Great view.
Places like this create more happiness in life!! Entering the restaurant you’ll be surprised by the stylish interior. We were unlucky not to be able to sit outside, but inside was also very nice. We were late with our reservation. The food is absolutely delicious and there is a good wine cart. We drank a Sicilian white from the Erna. These wines are very light and fresh. Lovers of a bit more round wines should go for a wine from the Alpes. Agrigento itself is not too special but this place (and of course the Valle dei Templi) is a good reason to stay here for one ore two days. B&b tip: Villa Lumnia
The food was absolutely amazing! We had the tuna tartare to start with, it was a generous portion and it melted in the mouth and the octopus which was also yummy. We then shared the basil gnocchi with fish and veggies, they were great. To follow we had the Ricciola and the Gamberoni and they were good too. Our favourite overall was the battuto di tonno (tartare). We also had two glasses of wine and dessert to share. They offered us a taste of their homemade amaro at the end. Considering all that we ate, the level of the restaurant and service we didn’t spend much (100 euros). Our table had a gorgeous view on the temple valley! Would be happy to recommend!
Todo de gran cualidad y profesionalidad.
Octopus starter was delicious. Perfectly done. Ricotta mouse dessert was also a mouth watering treat. Everything else was nice. Wine very good. Service was very friendly but not overly attentive.
Such a trendy and affordable place, interesting food and lovely people
Great experience all together, Food quality and presentations were amazing. Highly recommended.
The food was very nice if not a bit simple. Filet steak cooked perfect and my partner pasta dish was also well cooked. Dessert was particularly nice. Service a bit messy and a bit slow but that could be down to the language barrier on my part as I dont speak any Italian. Had a view overlooking the temples on the terrace which is right by a main road but that didnt bother me. Would recommend.
This restaurant, on the road to the Valley of the Temples, is unimposing from the outside but very impressive inside. We enjoyed a spectacular Sunday lunch which was excellent in every respect. I am very happy to have reserved because it was full when we arrived with couples and multi-generational families, kids all well behaved and all friendly. An extensive wine list and a lunch that included ravioli with sea urchin sauce, the absolutely best snapper I have ever eaten and pistachio semi-fredo will not be quickly forgotten.
Everything was horrible. 6 people in our group couldn’t figure out how it received such high reviews or received Michelin Award. Completely disappointed. I’m not one to write a terrible review but don’t waste your money on this restaurant.
Wonderful restaurant. The terrace seating overlooks the temple in the distance and it's wonderful to see it change as the evening progresses. The terrace is over the road so there are auto and scooter noise but you get used to it. The food was outstanding- wonderful attention to detail. Lots of flavor. We shared the pork appetizer ( a prosciutto-like dish); half pacchero with clams and monkfish (fabulous- the sauce was amazing); and snapper (beautiful soft contrast to the pasta which was bold); semifreddo was nice- expected it to be a bit more freddo but it was good.
Excellent end to our time in Agrigento. We have a great view of the Valley of the Temples as the sun set and it became night. The service was outstanding and so was the food.
The food was amazing! Very good service and a fantastic view.
