6/10The menu has changed, the food was over seasoned too salty almost making it inedible, bring back the previous menu please.

6/10I booked on line got email confirmation, however when arriving was told quite rudely I had no booking? They blamed the booking app which does not appear to be joined up to the restaurant system ( a diary). We were told there were no inside seats, there were and these remained empty for the duration of our visit. We were sat outside which was cold and when the food arrived it went cold very quickly. Quite a disappointing experience all in.

9/10The food was amazing. The Tuna and the Sea Bass were exceptional. The Confine pasta was subline. Their take on traditional Tiramisu is a must. Do not miss this dessert.

8.5/10On arrival we were told that they had our reservation for two people and when I said it was for three she confirmed that in her reservation book the table was for two but she would fit us in. When I showed her our Fork reservation she just said oh the reservation must be incorrect! After that, the service was impeccable with interesting though, in my view, very expensive food.

7/10Always used to head for this restaurant . Some of the staff are the same but the menu leaves not a lot of choice and the prices have changed significantly . Wine list is over complicated and quite expensive .

10/10We have visited this restaurant on previous occaisions and found the service to be of an excellent standard. The food is prepared and served to the highest standard that we have experienced in many years of travelling the world. Fantastic food and service keep it up !.

10/10From the moment we entered to the moment we left, the staff made us very welcome. Food is fabulous and offers a good choice, with something for everyone. It's not your average restaurant so could be regarded as the place for a treat, but i would highly recommend Il Vecchio. This was my 3rd visit and all 3 have been great nights.

9.5/10The food was delicious and the restaurant and kitchen were spotless. You can see the food being prepared from the restaurant. At first sight the menu seems a bit expensive but when you see the high standards you realise that this is money well spent. A really classy restaurant and we loved it.

3/10Menu had changed somewhat recently. Extremely fussy. Ordered lamb tortellini at €23 tasted delicious but 7 small parcels! Extremely expensive. Manager advised changed menu to attract a different clientele. Not fussy eaters but struggled to choose. Bill for 2 drinks 2 tortellini mains €60. Expensive and came away hungry. Will def not return. Shame as was our go to every year.

6.5/10Eaten about 6 times over the last few years. Great food, pizza, pasta and others. Booked for tonight without looking menu!!! Big mistake! Management has decided to change menu!!! Menu has no pizza (which were amazing), less pasta dishes but lots of more ‘fussy’ food. Disappointed - yes. Over the years, if you didn’t book, a long wait or no availability. Now, quiet with walk in! Tables took far too long to get their order taken, people came in looked at menu, had a drink and left!!! Struggled with menu. A few folk commented the same. Such a shame, won’t be back 🤷🏻♀️

2/10Overpriced rubbish. Pasta cannot cost this much!!!! Used to be a really busy pizza and now says restaurant. Now it’s an overpriced pasta place half empty. It won’t survive with this plan

7/10New menu leaves a lot to be desired. Disappointing they have taken pizzas off menu. No flexibility on menu.

3.5/10Nice greeting, the menu is extreme for an italian, no traditional dishes, no sides as an option. Happy to try new foods but when our food arrived it was disappointing. The Calamari and prawns were tasteless an the specials were well explained but but no price given and very ahocked when the bill came to find thata chosen starter was €49. Food heavily overpriced for the quality the food is very average. Many families sat down and left due to the non appealing menu

3/10Food very disappointing. Bread was stale. The lamb pasta portion size was extremely small and the price, for what we got was extremely expensive. The previous menu was a 100% better. Will not eat at this restaurant again

4/10We have been many times before & thoroughly enjoyed our food The menus have changed as they said they wanted to go to a higher level but our meal was very expensive and the food was not as good also left feeling hungry after 3 courses!

6/10We have been to this restaurant many times before and always enjoyed it and recommended it to friends. However, the menu has changed completely. I should have checked. There are no sides available and the portion sizes did not represent value for money. The staff are polite attentive and efficient. Unfortunately, we won't be back

4/10Very disorganised. No wine list. We were told they had no butter for the bread. We were also told they were not allowed to serve lemon with the fish. Asked for medium cooked meat and got it cooked very rare. Poor menu choice. Very expensive. Trying to be a high end restaurant but standards and customer service will need to be massively improved if they are to hit that level. We’ve been visiting this restaurant annually for numerous years. Very disappointing

5/10So disappointed. We were looking forward to revisiting this restaurant. What has happened to charm and personality. The food is good but the experience less than expected. After asking for the bill three times we were so sad at what the restaurant has become.

10/10Excellent lounge area to enjoy a pre dinner drink. Fantastic menu with a wide range of options for every course. Very attentive waiting staff & quality of food was quite special. SI good we are going back the next day!!
