The food was just perfect. The service was great. The restaurant was smaller than I thought. The two person dining tables were a bit small in size. Also when you dine here, you have to be aware that you will be sitting very closely to the others guests in the room which is something that can be a bit uncomforting at times.

All in all, lovely indonesian place!

Good attempt for the rice table with modern interpretation. But needs a bit variation on the flavor (sweet & savory is way too commonly tasted in 5 of the 8 main courses) Fish soup is excellent, Lamb chop on the main course is particularly great! Other dishes are just Ok to good. So I would recommend for those who have tried Indonesian food to skip the rice table and go straight to lamp chop and fish soup.

We had the rijsttafel (rice table), and it was fantastic! First was a trio of starters: mango salad, lightly seared scallops and a small fish brochette. Next was soup with prawn and cod, then two satays, goat and chicken. Then the main course that had eight small dishes, including sticky lamb chops (fabulous and our favorite), spicy beef and sweet beef, chicken in coconut curry, giant prawns in sweet and sour sauce (wonderful), some pickled and fresh vegetables and a couple of vegetables dishes and rice. Great variety and a lot of food. We arrived early, and we were accommodated and had a chance to meet the chefs and the other staff. Fun time!

Very cool little place. Owners could not have been nicer. Food is well prepared, and very good, but not worth flying to Amsterdam for. Good place to go, and I would go again.

This was a great find. We had the Rijsttfel (Rice Table) for two people and it was some of the best food we've had in a long time. You will need to book!

The Rijstafel may surprise some. It was not conventional, but a series of dishes comprising a starter , sate, and a main course. Not very spicy. Ok for my wife, but bland for me.
Access was down narrow steps and a sliding door. Greeting and service was very friendly.

First time trying Indonesian food & it was amazing! You have to try the rice table feast - a host of tiny dishes, all of which taste incredible. Wish we had Indonesian food in Scotland...

We had the rice table--basically a four-course meal (though with surprisingly little rice!) First was a trio of starters: mango salad, lightly seared scallops and a small fish brochette. Next was soup with prawn and cod, then two satays, goat and chicken. And finally the main course that had eight small dishes, including sticky lamb chops, spicy beef and sweet beef, chicken in coconut curry, two giant prawns in sweet and sour sauce, some pickled and fresh vegetables and a couple of vegetables dishes and, of course, rice. Fantastic variety and, in the end, more than we could finish. Service was lovely, everyone was very friendly and eager to explain the dishes. Rice table for two plus one beer and one sparkling water was 88€, a little pricier than I was expecting going in, but definitely worth it.

This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I had never experienced Indonesian food. The owner explained the rice menu and we tried the assortment sampling. There were a dozen small plates, each with a different vegetable, meat, fish, and sauce. What a treat and excellent service.
