This was an unexpected discovery in the outskirts of the city. Fantastic food and service. If we lived here, we would definitely come back.

The pizza was quite good. HOWEVER, despite the lack of any other customers when I arrived, the half dozen staff seemed to not know who was waiting the table. At least, took multiple attempts to get tbeir attention. Had a pastis apero, correct. Hard to mess up pastis. When it came to wine by the glass, there was a local red and a Sicilian. Opted for the local, supposedly from AIX. UNDRINKABLE! Acidic and metallic. Might as well have been vinegar. PLUS, wine was WARM, about 22 C! Switched to the Sicilian. Same warm temp. Similar acidic and almost vinegary taste. Jard to get a bad glass of wine in France. INIZIO manages to serve undrinkable wine. I guess they save money buying cheap industrial plonk. At €6.50 per glass, their markup must be at leaat €6. Unacceptable. The pizza served was quite good, with perfectly cooked crust. Topping ok, god not extraordinary. BUT, despite bring the ONLY customer inside (terrace quite noisy on a busy street), they seated a second customer right in front, with his back to me, inches away. Why? New customer stood inches away over my table, a then farted before sotting down. A disgusting stench. I immediately got up, paid and left. All in all an unpleasant experience. With decent wine, and attention to seating arrangements when restaurant not busy, would have been a decent, good meal. As it was, a very unpleasant experience. Decor also a bit sad. No idea who's writing the superlative, misleading reviews. Lots of decent pizza places in Marseille. This is not one of them.

The service was amazing. Everyone was so attentive and kind. The food was great. We would go back to eat there again or get an appetizer and wine. Our server recommended a wine which paired well with our food. They were attentive to our children, especially the one who wanted just plain noodles.

Staff was very friendly, we didn’t have a reservation but they had a table so no problem. We went for pizza asked for some extra ingredients and it went perfectly. Great dinner.
