This small, welcoming restaurant has a friendly and genruinely helpful staff who take good care of diners. The menu is a terrific mix of specials and their own standards, and covers a lot of ground without trying to do too much. The kitchen is meticulous and preparation and presentation are excellent without being pretentious. It's nice to have a beverage service that is not totally dominated by wine, though those offerings are good. The house red was fine. Invictus gets excellent word of mouth for good reason. If you are looking for self-conscious "performance" cuisine, there are more self-absorbed establishments for that. If you want a fine dining experience where the offerings, ambiance, and service are all authentic and excellent, this is such a place.
Great food and excellent service. One waiter catered for the whole restaurant and he was awesome. This was our 2nd time to Invictus and we love it. We forgot to bring cash for the tips so we will be back to honour the fine service.
Lovely restaurant. The food was amazing. The waiter was excellent on the wine pairing.
We love everything about Invictus - the service, the food and the atmosphere.
My fiance and I ordered pig ear and crab as an appetizer and the shrimp and beef shoulder for our main course. Everything was absolutely delicious. Cute restaurant with excellent service! I would absolutely recommend.
Such a warm welcome and great atmosphere. The restaurant was nicely busy the whole time we were here. The food was superb and we will definitely come here again.
Excellent food and great service.
Tout simplement , EXCELLENT !
Excellent food in a very lovely and nicely decorated restaurant. Very welcoming team, highly recommended for a unique romantic moment or warm time with family or friends.
Amazing restaurant in Paris, 2nd time here and it did not disappoint.
This was a lovely meal, thoughtfully served.
Très bien !
First night in Paris with our daughter who is studying abroad and couldn’t be happier with our choice of restaurants! The entrance is so welcoming and cozy atmosphere was great. We ordered the fish and it was just perfect. Also- be sure and treat yourself to the chocolate soufflé- just delicious! Great service too.
Great service (the staff is enthusiastic and kind) and great food. There are set menus and a la carte plates as well as daily options. The deserts are delicious.
Good restaurant, short menu but well thought. Good list of wines. Open on Sunday !
The service was excellent, the waiter was very clear in explaining the daily offers. The starter (with shrimps and cucumbers) was very good and refreshing, and the main course was the best beef steak I have ever eaten in my life. Also dessert with figs cooked in red wine with ice cream and madeleines was excellent.
Best meal we’re had in Paris!

"AN ENTIRE POEM - Invictus, Christophe Chabanel's new restaurant in the 6th District, offers truly sensational cuisine. A vital impetus that the chef is pleased to share in his chic bistro with a name inspired by its last culinary adventure in South Africa.
BOLD MENU - Take the time to decipher, to desire these dishes prepared with masterly skill, such as lamb stew and red curry juice or the famous warm millefeuille with vanilla beans.
PARIS MONTPARNASSE - A stone's throw from the Jardin du Luxembourg and Tour Montparnasse, Invictus is recognizable by its brown facade treated as in the olden days. The dining room is bright and comfortable. And what if you also left it as an invincible?"
