Despite booking in advance they didn't have a table set for us on arrival. They then sat us in the outside area right next to the door....freezing cold every time someone went out for a cigarette etc.

Restaurante com ambiente acolhedor, funcionários simpáticos e profissionais, um serviço de mesa muito atencioso e cuidado. Os pratos que pedimos foi um Risotto à bulhão pato e o frango, tudo bem confecionado e saboroso. De entrada pedimos o pão de alho e alecrim, uma massa fina e crocante. Adorámos a experiência. Recomendo, 5 estrelas ????

Restaurante de bom nível sobre todos os aspectos, ambiente, serviço e comidas - entradas, prato principal e doces. Pastas e peixe que pedimos muito bem preparados e apresentação também impecável. Pessoal atencioso, disponível e bem preparados. Experiência muito positiva e da repetir.

Even thought he restaurant appeared very busy we had excellent service and relatively fast. service. only complaint the pizza bottom was not cooked quite enough it was soggy but apart from that very good

Found staff pleasant enough but it was not easy to understand what they were asking, poor conversational English. 3 big parties in whilst we were there consequently it was very noisy and maybe why service was a bit slow. Nothing to complain about but likewise nothing outstanding to recommend at Italian Republic

Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here, again. Plenty of choices, something to suit everyone. A comment I saw said the food was dripping in Parmesan , but the cheese is in a pot placed on the table so you can help yourself, as it has been on every occasion we have been there. Superb.
