Overall, the food was good and the employees were very nice. However, the tiramisú wasn't the most authentic and the wrong food was delivered to our table several times. I recommend a visit to ItalycaffeGaia, but there are some aspects that can be improved upon.

when we arrived at Italy Caffe Gaia, we almost gave up... the reception was a mess and the ‘host’ was completely lost, not knowing where to accommodate the people arriving. thankfully we didn't give up, because our experience was significantly improved! the waiter was very attentive and the food was very tasty! tip to the restaurant: change the host and everything will be perfect!

Food was edible and service fine. We chose this restaurant based on its 9.2 ranking and proximity to our AirBnB. The food, flavors and presentation were all very poor. In a town with so many good places to eat, it’s difficult to see how they could have such high marks.

I'm grateful for the staff and waiters for the brilliant service. I asked for a table with a view for Douro river and they managed to fulfill that request. Thank you very much it made the dinner very special, and of course the food as well. Everything was delicious.
