The food is mundane. I don’t understand how they got a Michelin star at first place. I ordered 4 courses tasting menu.

We're sorry that your dinner was not a good experience. Your review really surprises us especially as you seemed satisfied leaving our restaurant. You should have told us. We do our job with heart. On the contrary you prefer to comment in this way to harm us...whereas you seemed to compliment us when we removed your plates. We do not understand.

We found this place to be way overpriced for the quality of the experience and expected much more considering it has a Michelin star. The food was rather bland and not well thought out from an experience perspective- strange order, proportions, etc- the portions were small, and the service was careless - we weren’t offered a glass of wine with our main dish until it was almost gone (I had maybe two bites left on my plate) and they didn’t do basic things like refill water and tidy up crumbs from the table. The server left before our meal was done which wouldn’t have been a problem except she clearly didn’t communicate our order to her coworkers and our digestive never arrived until we gave up and just decided to leave instead. Would certainly never return.

We’re sorry your experience was so bad and also surprised, with regard to the care we try to bring to each our clients and to the number of positive feedbacks we have every day. We’re suffering from a lack of staff, what could explain a number of breaches that we’re the first to regret, depend upon it and we’re very sorry if communication went wrong that day between our teams. We understood that you wanted your digestives after your desserts ; you then told us you wanted to cancel them. Concerning wine, you told us you only wanted one glass. We take your comments into account of course and we would have liked you tell us directly.

The chef is very fun. He was serving with the hostess the whole night. He didn’t speak much English but he had a playful spirit. The hostess spoke English so it worked out. The food was phenomenal

Food was excellent all piece of art. Especially Sophia was fabulous. She explained us all the plates and their stories. We enjoyed the food and service. Thanks to Sophia. Chef Jacques came to our table like all other tables several times and served us some more plates addition to our tasing menu. Definitely we will come again.

We were only in Paris for a few days and were really looking forward to the experience of a Michelin star restaurant. There were a few things that really disappointed us. First, getting the wine menu was a chore - so much so that we received our starters before the wine was poured. Second, two people in our group ordered beef. It was so difficult to cut that one person almost gave up on eating her meal. Not sure if it was the cut, preparation, or just very dull cutlery but I have never experienced anything like it before. And last, the person attending to our table mixed up the desert orders. When the desserts were served, we mentioned this and were told that we had ordered as delivered. Later the chef offered to fix it but by then it was really too late. This was a terribly disappointing experience for a bill of more than 300 euros.

We are sorry you came out so disappointed...and a little bit surprised too. We had no taken the measure of it as much you have not told us, so we write you back. Because of the late hour and the number of people, we have indeed made a slower service than we would have liked and we apologize for that. It's due to a cruel lack of employees too...as many confreres unfortunately. About your meat, of course if you don't like something or if there is a problem with a dish, it goes back to the kitchen and we come back with another. But your main-courses plates came back empty, so we are very astonished at the reading of the tone of your message. About your dessert, acording to us there was no error with the order, but Sofia offered to change it. Lastly, your bill indeed amounted to €317 because of a wine you chose in our wine card for €99 the bottle, almost a third of your bill finally. Regards.

Visiting Paris for our 30th year anniversary. Selected several Michelin star restaurants including Jacques Faussat. The food, service and atmosphere at Jacques Faussat was outstanding. My wife and I had the 3 course dinner. We also did the extras such as potatoe truffle starter, the pigeon and the soufflé. The potatoe truffle and foi gras starter was delectable. The pigeon was finished at table side with Armagnac. Had the wine pairing which was spot on. The dessert wine was spectacular. The service was equally as good. Jacques and his assistant, a delightful and cheery personality from Italy are the only 2 taking care of the service. There are about 10 tables so it was very manageable and just great service. You felt like you. were in someone’s home that was an expert at cooking.. highly recommend Jacques Faussat for a gourmet experience.

Love love love everything about m experience with this restaurant. From the warmth of the service, the delicious food and the spectacular chef who made sure all of his diners are served well. Their little place is a slice of heaven and comfort. My new favorite pesto in the world. Cheers Chef Jacques and his whole staff!

Vi valgte bestille smaksmeny på 4 retter. Maten var nokså bra. Mannen min likte den, men jeg synte at den hadde ikke så mye smak. Men service var virkelig dårlig. Mannen min ville ha følgende maten vinpakke, men vinnen aldri ble servert med maten før han spurte om det. Personale snakker dårlig på engelsk og vi fikk ingen forklaring hva ble servert. Til å vare MISHELIN var det ganske lav nivå, vi hadde noen bedre erfaringer og deretter, forventinger.

Surprisingly delicious meal for the price. I’m so glad we decided to book a reservation here. The chef was gracious and did his best to make us feel at home despite the fact that we could not speak French. The food took a creative spin on classic dishes. Couldn’t have asked for more

Initially, you might just walk past this restaurant as it is not flashy like other places however you would be missing out. This small yet intimate location is the exact location where Jacques and his staff provided not only exceptional food but also an experience. To start off with, I ordered the chefs four course meal with the wine tasting. These small portions were packed with flavor and surprisingly filling. Each bite was crafted with detail that were pleasing to the senses with perfectly paired wines. In addition to the food itself, Jacques would also help serve the patrons to ensure they were enjoying the meal. Sophia, the hostess/server was also wonderful as she explained the meals as well as answered any questions. Between the delectable food and the excellent service, Jacques Faussat is a marvelous place to experience.
