We enjoyed a full moon dinner where it was suggested we wore white. Most people entered into the spirit. There were lots of candles in the chapel where we ate which was lovely. The food on the whole was very good and interesting - a set 4 course menu. We opted to have the wine paring and the 3 wines were very nice and not too expensive. We didn’t like the ‘cocktail’ at the end though. Unfortunately, the service was very poor once we moved out onto the terrace. We seemed to be forgotten.

Had really expected everything to be spot on. Bill coming to just over 100 euros not outrageous in price but really felt it lacked a lot. I had the risotto, which one usually assumes to be creamy and smooth textured not al dente on the rice. Normany oysters were good, but described as the best in the world, well I must have been spoilt because they just tasted liked good Normandy oyesters! Tagliatelle was good but the lobster lacked flavour. The 5 tasty bits of tapas were excellent, but would I have equally enjoyed other tapas in the old town as much, possibly. Desert, not really anything exceptional, manchego ice cream lacked something and the floppy rather unfortunate strawberry topping whereas full of flavour had an unpleasant texture. Cocunut rice pudding again disappointing! If they want to keep their Mitchelin aclaim then they need to up their game. We actually wanted the menu degustacion with 5 courses but this was not available. All in all quite disappointing, couldnt really recommend! Shame.
