We really enjoyed this excellent restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. Today we had lunch inside but we look forward coming back in the summer. The food was amazing and you will love it

Excellent meal, unique dishes, love the dessert. Can’t wait to come back when the renovations are done. Definitely worth coming back. Just took a really long time for the food to arrive…

The restaurant ambience , decor, elegance- superb. However, it was extremely hot ( at 21:00). 2 big fans could solve the problem. Food was superb, there is no choice of menu, so advised to look ahead on the internet. Service was great to start, but then was very slow- it seems that the bottle neck is the kitchen… highly recommended

Many excellent features including setting and quality of cuisine. If the following little criticisms can be ironed out I will be fondly returning. 1) The seating is by wire backed chairs, or something similar. Golden oldies like me find them uncomfortable. 2) We didn't receive our main course until 1h 40M after arrival. 3) The wine list could have had some more affordable reds from off-centre areas. However our Crozes 2019 of Alain Graillot did accompany our perfectly cooked beef well. This restaurant has the potential to reach 9.5/10. 0 caractères A

A gem of a restaurant in the most serene, Provencal surroundings with cuisine and staff to compliment. Local ingredients, some grown in their surrounding gardens. Thoroughly recommend the experience and the value.

Le Jardin Secret is what we call in French ´une trouvaille’, it’s a hideaway restaurant in the lovely village of Cotignac. A beautiful lunch menu set up by the chef, you don’t want anything else. We highly recommend this restaurant!

We really enjoyed our experience at Jardin Secret. We chose the 4 course menu (which might as well count as 5 as they offered us a variety of small starters to enjoy with a glass of champagne we chose to start the meal with). Service was excellent. Food was of high quality and nicely presented. Bring two stomachs!!! We hope to go back. Recommended!

We were a table of four for lunch. Our introduction on entering the restaurant was to our own private room, simply decorated but homely and welcoming. The food was excellent, the service excellent - every detail catered for. To anyone who may not have been before - well, well worth the experience. Well done !

We were introduced to the autumn/winter Sunday brunch. Either on the terrace or inside one can enjoy a delicious variety of food in a warm and welcome ambiance. A splendid way to spend the Sunday afternoon!

Another wonderful evening and delicious meal at Jardin Secret. It is really a delight. We were privileged to meet the original chef and creator of the restaurant who made a guest appearance. What a great find! We are so happy to have found such a lovely restaurant just within our dinner driving area. Most unexpected to have a lovely private dining room, great ambience, fabulous food and wine. Our waitress was absolutely sweet and very attentive. The service was a perfect speed, we were not rushed and each course (4) came at the perfect time after the first. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer to take advantage of the terrace and garden, which looked lovely with the lighting. Many thanks to all of you for giving us such a lovely, memorable evening.

The Jardin Secret has the perfect ambience: it really is a secret garden with a view over Cotignac and the hills of Provence. Sadly however the service does not live up to the ambience. It took sometime before anybody came and offered us a drink, and then equally some time before the staff member explained that the menu (48 euros) offered no choice at all. We had to ask for the blackboard to be brought to us. It happened to be bouillabaisse (fish soup) to start, and yet more fish for the main course, with no vegetables to speak of and yet more of the bouillabaisse in a bowl with more fish in it. le Jardin Secret makes a point of saying they use their own home grown vegetables which we were looking forward to, but other than the little tomatoes served with our aperitif there were none. There is no Maitre D’hotel and one was needed, the staff did their best (Nathalie and Roland our waiters were charming) but at times most of the tables were waiting to be served. The dessert was a clafoutis, which was good but very small. The chef came out at the end of the meal but failed to come and talk to us. We gave our feedback to our waiters, but it’s really at management level where the problem is. We were very disappointed as we live locally and were looking forward to a special meal at a special place.

Nice place, friendly service, limited choise of dishes but use of good ingrédients, sauces tasty but to dominant so they hide the basic taste of the méat/fish that is served. Icy glass of red wine was served, not a good idea. Lights on the table are disturbing in the evening.

This is everything that you dream of in a Provencal Restaurant. We ate in the very pretty garden beneath the olive trees. The food was absolutely spot on and the service was impeccable. We will certainly return.
