The Beef Madras and Bollywood chicken were both really nice, as was the Onion Bhaji and the gorgeous Tamarind sauce that accompanied it. The Smashed Samosa Chaat was unfortunately a little hard to eat. The sauces had soaked through the Samosas making them really mushy instead of crispy. It would have been nicer had the Tamarind Sauce and the Mint Sauce with vegetables been in their own seperate bowls. The reason I won't be back is because the restaurant was FILTHY. There were hundreds of dead gnats and cobwebs in the window sill. The floor was very dirty and there was even some old food stick stuck to our table. Everything was dusty and the windows appeared as though they'd been cleaned with a dirty rag. This honestly made me worry about the cleanliness of the kitchen. The music also continued to cut out throughout our meal. Also the decor was very old fashioned and could do with a more modern revamp. On a positive note the waitress was very nice :)
Best Indian in Geelong, fantastic curries and bread. Good portion sizes. Small space - best off booking. We’ve tried other restaurants but always keep coming back here
Delicious food and wonderful service
The food was excellent. We love the cosy atmosphere and it was quite busy. However the service was quite slow and without explanation our starters came out individually and a long time apart. Not sure why, we would have preferred them all together.
There was a delay of one hour between entrée and mains which was a little annoying
Its a very good Indian food
This restaurant is so cozy and cute and the food is divine!!!
Myself and my two daughters dined here, it was our first experience at an Indian Restaurant, service was great and food was amazing, very good value.
Very flavorful food. Very tasty
Whilst we live locally, we have several sets of friends who live in Melbourne, and interstate, and they all ask if we can meet up at Jashn for a meal. I think that this speaks for itself.Jashn on Pako
Thank you kindly for taking the time out to write us a review. Hope you see you again Regards
We keep going back to Jashn for the food, friendly service and value for money. On this occasion we had a friend with us from NSW, who wanted to go to Jashn, because he says that he just cannot get good Indian food like Jashn serve, anywhere else.
Any time we have been here, the food is delicious. However, it took an hour and 20 minutes for our meals to arrive. I have worked in hospitality before and the management of the kitchen and communication with customers needs improvement. There was an obvious priority given to those who ordered take away and therefore neglecting their in-house customers.
Excellent food and service, will be going back
The food was so incredible! The interior is also lovely and quaint. This has now become my go to Indian shop in the Geelong region. Will recommend to friends, thank you!
Food was delicious! Always a treat to come to Jashn. Music is that little bit too loud so that could be toned down a touch to make a more comfortable experience.
Food was nice, always is. Service on this occasion was non existent. Over an hour from ordering to entre and then another 45 minute wait for mains. A suggestion that the service could be improved met with total indifference.
The food was superb as always
Best Indian in Geelong well worth getting down to and giving it a go.
The food was really nice. A reasonable wait between entree and main but it was due to it being quite busy.
The food was great, especially the starters. We are fussy with our Indian food and this was given the thumbs up by all three of us. The white wine was not cold however that is OK. Service was really good and we were treated as a customer, not just another number. Thank you.
