It was a special celebration meal for us, and was made special. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere relaxed and the decor dramatic. The food from beginning to.end was creative, beautifully presented and each course an event in taste combinations. A hugecrange of wines. Highly recommended.

Good address in Clermont-Ferrant. The food is good, we had the sardine as a stater which were really good. The veal was well cooked and the chef could replace allergic items (celery) on demand. The wine list is large (any price) but contain no wine by the glass.

Taste, presentation and service were all on top notch. Nice atmosphere. Modern sober decor. The chef stopped by at the end of the lunch, which is always a nice touch. All in all great experience!

We really wanted to like this restaurant and everything was great except for one of the main plates which was very disappointing. We ordered the least expensive menu but we also ordered champagne and glasses of wine for each course so we weren’t trying to be cheap. The problem was that one of us ordered lamb as a main course and specified medium rare when asked how we preferred the cook. We even discussed the French word for medium rare. When served, it was medium to well done. We talked to the server about it being well past medium rare and were told there was no medium rare for lamb in France and that it was only bloody or medium. If this were true, why not discuss at ordering rather then accept the medium rare request and discuss what medium rare means rather than accept a medium rare request if you knew this wasn’t possible. We have had medium rare lamb before in France so this was hard to understand. I said at one point that you must be saying this is our fault for ordering incorrectly but he did accept and discuss what medium rare meant. It spoiled the whole experience for both of us as this main course was totally unacceptable.
