10/10Our 14th anniversary at Jean Imbert au Plaza Athénée was an unforgettable experience, defined by elegance, romance, and unparalleled excellence in both cuisine and service. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the atmosphere set the tone for a magical evening. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a masterpiece, meticulously prepared and beautifully presented. The wine selection was equally impressive. The sommelier’s recommendation were excellent What truly set Jean Imbert au Plaza Athénée apart was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every aspect of our evening was flawless. From the warm welcome at the door to the heartfelt congratulations on our anniversary, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The pacing of the meal was perfect, allowing us to savor each course without feeling rushed. As the evening drew to a close, we were treated to a decadent dessert that was almost too beautiful to eat. It was the perfect end to a perfect night. 5/10Visiting Paris over the weekend, we went to this restaurant as we wanted to experience top French cuisine. It almost ruined our entire ‘weekend in Paris’ experience. We left utterly disappointed. The fois gras was too sour, the starter lobster was ok, the turbot tasted like cheap school cuisine (nothing) and was chewy in a bad way (dry). The small tomato soup dish (between dishes) was exquisite, so was the strawberry sabayon dessert. If all the food was like these two dishes, we would have left with a smile and we would have returned. The room is amazingly beautiful and deserves a tasteful food experience to it.

9/10Perhaps the most elegant setting for dinner in Paris. Impeccable service, knowledgeable sommelier. We did not have time to have the tasting menu. we found the dishes on the à la carte menu good, but not particularly inventive.
