The dishes were wonderful- small, but delicious and surprising in taste. Also no cooking with “chemicals”- quite often after visits in this class restaurants I get a reaction on the ingredients they bind the souses with, etc- but not this time- great!
The only thing to improve to my opinion is on the wine- there was almost no selection on wine per glass, so the waitress suggested to try a glass from the wine arrangement. Honestly, the quality didn’t meet the quality of the food, and we were charged for the whole arrangement, although we had only 2 glasses. And btw, the delicious oyster before the actual menu starts/ tap water was also charged separately.
Nevertheless, the experience was great, and we look forward to returning.

Very refined and creative cuisine in this little restaurant situated in the old center of town, by a canal in a beautiful historical house. We had dinner outside and thoroughly enjoyed the succession of small tasty dishes all prepared with skill and imagination. This is all about fish and seafood so don’t go there for a steak... Service was professional and attentive, presentation impeccable; stylish but unpretentious. It is a bit pricy (count on 50€ per person minimum including wine) but worth it. Only surprise was that the information provided in The Fork was inaccurate: no à la carte menu: everything is a set menu (40, 60, 80 or 100 depending on the number of selections) and to the discretion of the chef. This needs to be corrected. In any case, I highly recommend this little restaurant, which should also have been given a higher Michelin rating....

The service felt quite rushed though there were only a few tables. The dishes began to taste similar. not enough to really make each one stand out. Nicely presented.

Great atmosphere, great service, completely delicious food. We went for the 6 course option and although we were pretty full by the end of dinner, it was a well balanced meal with an imaginative use of ingredients. Beautifully presented amuses-bouche and the halibut was my favourite fish course. New seasons asparagus delicious, melt in the mouth pesto and a parmesan almost-mousse on top. Would recommend to anyone coming to Amsterdam even if only for one night. (But we were told about it by a local).
