The food was disappointing. The choices were poor as nearly half of the dishes on the menu were available. The swordfish was tasteless. The interiors though are nice and welcoming.

The staff were nice and helpful: we asked for another table and they immediately changed. Very nice and well presented recepies. Very good wine. Deserves a visit again.

Good food and good service, nice location. Very particular dishes with peculiar moxing of tastes. We enjoied ourselves tonight. We'll get back for sure.

The service was good and the food original and of excellent quality. Portions were of the right size and they even offered children’s options which was so helpful!

Took ages to get the menu, we had been sitting half an hour to get water. Food was ok but took forever to pay so it ruined the whole experience

A smart and elegant interior sets the tone. Service was friendly and informative, taking time to explain the menu. The chef has a skilled and creative touch. The Piedmont beef was superb as was the fresh tuna and the finale-a chocolate fondant-was superb. If I lived in Trieste I would return and work my way through the menu.

Joia is a cute litlle place with amazing food, affordable prices of wine bottles and very very friendly service. Highly recommended and we sure will return!

Super easy reservation via TheFork. Friendly staff with fast service and reasonable prices. We had a comfortable evening with no remarkable complaints.

The food was good, the list was satisfying, with some interesting "out of menu" dishes. The list of wines had a good choice, with excellent wines with affordable prices. People serving were absolutely professionell and kind. The price is worth. I enjoyed the stay.

Too much over cooked spaghetti. The prawns were old and should not have been used. I was concerned after taking a bite that we might get sick from eating them. In Trieste there is no excuse for selling bad shellfish.
