Reviews are really misleading, if you ever tasted nice and fresh sushis. Everything seemed to be frozen. Very disappointing compare what you can read online. Overpriced. The owners clearly take people for idiots.

We had a lovely dinner. The owners greeted us and made us feel very welcome. We ate a buffet of special sushi dishes. It was seven courses and totally delicious.

What a truly incredible dining experience! Sushi is my favorite and so far, Portugal has not disappointed. But KA is next level! The "cave" is charming and the location is ideal, less than a minute from the train station. We were a party of six (4 adults and 2 teens). After we received our drinks, the owner, Sanya, offered some suggestions of what to eat. It all sounded great, so we decided to let Sanya make our choices for us. This was a perfect decision. We started with gyoza. They were so light and delicate and the sauce was insane! Each course was handmade and perfectly prepared. Their ceviche is to die for! The sashimi melts in your mouth, and the rolls were divine. Even Sanya's special dessert was unique and delicious. Sanya and her husband were amazing hosts and saw to our every need. Even the teens agreed that this place is truly special and our favorite sushi restaurant. We cannot wait to return!

Very good and nice food

The food is good, especially the tartar. The owner of the restaurant is friendly, she speaks English fluently. But the price is a bit expensive.

Best service we had in over two weeks. Sushi high quality and fresh and in a trendy area of town. Reasonable prices. Would definitely return the next time we are in area.

This is a lovely little place in a great location. It’s immaculately clean inside and feels welcoming. We took our two young daughters and they were also well looked after. As for the important bit, the food, well that was simply excellent. A great range of choice, freshly made and complemented by some very nice drinks. All for a reasonable price.

Group of 7 friends, some more familiar with sushi than others. We had a great time and tried a lot of different dishes. There are non-fish alternatives and plenty of choices. If you're not that familiar with sushi the maître d' offered to choose dishes for you. The owners were there and added a personal touch and we were well looked after. We would definitely come back but it was the last night of our trip on this occasion! Thanks again!

Pretty average sushi in a standard setting. No soap in the bathroom and rude, impatient wait staff. We ordered the "set menu", which included coffee, but we were not offered any. We couldn't wait to leave as soon as we finished eating. We will not be returning.

Loved every dish we had - miso soup was umami, gyoza and ceviche were delicious, and sashimi was so fresh! Great off-the-beaten-path sushi restaurant and Owner was very welcoming! Definitely recommend!
