10/10This restaurant is definitely more than worth a visit. We tried the tasting menu which was amazing - lots of fish of exceptional quality, some of the moments to be eaten by hand. Most amazing moment was the sushi "upside down" we called it - fish on tongue, rice on top - with really a super tasty surprise moment (I don't want to explain what happend 😉, you must try). There is no wine pairing which is fine, you choose by glass or bottle. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quite private, very good light and music, super nice and attentive service, cool mixture of guests. Definitely a "must do again".

7.5/10This restaurant is worth a visit. To avoid being disappointed, don't expect to find a good restaurant serving real Japanese food here. Unfortunately the quality of Euskalduna is not verified here.

10/10Our time at Kaigi was wonderful. From the reception by the hostess, to the sake recommendation, the chats with the proprietor, and of course: the preparation, presentation, quality, and taste of each dish. Truly excellent, and far beyond what we've had in the ways of sushi in Porto for a long time - Izakaya excluded. We didn't know beforehand that Kaigi and Euskalduna were affiliated, something that would have put us off if we knew, due to an average experience a long time ago. Regardless, the impeccable meal at Kaigi is something that made us plan our return visit from the first bite. Magnificent, all around.

10/10The dining with the ideas of the chef on each dish made the experience special. Each dish was creative, sometimes surprising, but all delicious. Overall the experience was great and the value is very good too. We will come back again.

9.5/10We had an amazing Omakase experience! The creativity with infusing Portuguese and Japanese cuisine was unmatched. The staff was very gracious and attentive. I would’ve given it a 10/10 if the location was better and a bit more conspicuous.

10/10Such a fantastic spot. The food, the staff, the service and the ambience all 10/10. Love how they fuse Portuguese and Japanese, without taking away from Japanese cuisine. The omakase is the way to go.
