The food was amazing and creative (and we have eaten a lot of sushi). The presentation was beautiful and original. Lovely service, our waiter took time to talk us through the menu and made excellent recommandations. The restaurant itself does not have the cosiest or romantic atmosphere, but who cares if the food is that good!!

The Kaira Robata and the duck spring rolls were excellent The green fondant is an acquired taste and expensive for what it was. The waiter Karam knowledgable and helpful. We will be back for more

The staff were welcoming & friendly. The menu had a good choice, something to suit everyone. The food we got was great, recommend the creamy tempura prawns & the salmon with spicy butter ponzu. The green matcha cake for dessert was also great. Would go again & recommend to anyone.

The food was good as was the service, and it was pretty good value. Unfortunately, my experience was affected somewhat due to there being a minor issue with ants on the wall right against where I was sitting.

Food was served with nice presentation. We booked under a 30% discount under the fork site, which was not honoured at time of payment. They had a buffet service which we didn’t opt for as it was pretty empty and not sure of how long the few items there were sitting there, sushi should be under refrigeration.

Not great quality or service. Took forever to get our food and they weren’t even busy. Everything is covered in mayo based sauce. Wouldn’t go back.

The food was really good but very small selection of vegetarian food (I expected more based on previous reviews and advertising). Service was alright however th fact that they were trying to catch new customers from the street was irritating and disturbed the ambiance

I don’t think the sushi was good at all. I had no idea the crab roll was cooked, which kind of ruined it for me. I speak some Português and felt like the waiters were more eager to speak inglês given the location. I’m not really a tourist…so to have waiters and waitresses just standing very close, hovering and staring didn’t make me feel comfortable. Maybe other people like that? I would never come back here just because my own personal anxiety of the hovering

We decided to eat dinner in Kaira Sushi on our last day in Portugal and it was a pleasant visit. The staff was very kind and helpful. We ordered a few different sushi rolls. The ones with fresh fish were delicious. But the ones with tempura prawn/calamari were of a little less quality. There was too much panko so we couldn't really taste the fish. Apart from that, all the ingredients were fresh, the edamame starter was one of the best we've tried so far. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try :)

Food and service was amazing. We tried several types of sushi and all were delicious. My husband tried the steamed seabass and said it was the best fish he'd ever eaten in his life. Highly recommend this place.

Went out with friends for sushi and some other type of asian food, had the shared plate of sushi with 34 pieces (was good) had the salmon and a chicken noodles. Salmon was a bit dry and the noodles was alright. The service was ok, nothing special. Just a note, the toilet smelled very bad. There was small flies inside the toilet cabin, very unpleasant.

I’ve stayed in Tokyo for several years, so the food here is not acceptable for me. Sashimi is not fresh enough and the duck roll is cold which I can’t believe. The curry is cooked like instant food. I think Indian are good at cooking curry at least! Considered the high price, I was unsatisfied with the meal.

the product itself "sushi" wasnt very good in terms of taste. presentation was okay but then we got watered down soja. also dont ask for water because its just filtered tap water.

The manager or the owner, idk, is so rude. We found hair in our food, and the least that can be done is to remove this item from the bill. The staff was nice, and I saw that they talked with the manager, but he refused! It is very disappointing that a manager acts this way. We didn’t ask for a new one or anything. I said that I came based on trip advisor recommendations, so I will have to mention what happened with me. The manager came and started yelling and saying, Go and complain to the trip advisor! And we were surprised because we were not talking to him and we never saw him! He was racist for the GCC; he said we were not in Dubai, which is, in fact, no one mentioned Dubai. I do not recommend going. If a manager can’t be nice or at least fair with the customers, then there's no need to bother going.

Very bad food quality, obviously it is "western-shushi" but really bad (disgusting...). I don't understand how other people can add good reviews. Also be careful because they didn't apply the 30% discount immediately, I had to ask for an amendment of the bill. Very bad experience

The food was some of the best I’ve had and I have had a lot of Japanese and Asian foods coming from Hawaii. The seafood soup, oysters, the lamb skewers, and fire rolls were all amazing. The matcha lava cake for dessert was unique and delicious as well.

We were there on Saturday night, we got a sharing platter of salmon sushi and the waiter had suggested a tempura shrimp which we got and absolutely didn't regret. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious! Such a good feed and a good price for what you get. The service was great and they were so attentive and friendly! When in Faro don't miss out on this place. Thank you so much Kaira Sushi!

One of the best sushi we had in quit some time. Great vibe and top service. Even with two young cranky kids and a crying baby, they were patience and kind. And the way the serve the sushi is art work. Would love to come back some day!
