10/10I recently had the pleasure of dining at KAVA Marbella, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We opted for the set menu, and each course was a delightful journey of flavors, beautifully presented and expertly crafted. The attention to detail in every dish was evident, showcasing the chef's passion and creativity. What truly set the evening apart was the exceptional service. The staff were not only professional and attentive but also genuinely warm and accommodating. We were dining with our young child, and the team at KAVA went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable and happy. They thoughtfully adjusted the menu to suit our child's tastes and even provided a few special surprises that were much appreciated. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience. Elegant yet cozy, it was the perfect setting for a memorable family dinner.

10/10The restaurant has truly exceptional food. It is hard to believe that it does not (yet) have a Michelin star. The courses come extremely well timed, and are each jewel like in their presentation, not to mention delicious tasting. The sommelier/waiter is attentive and happy to provide suggestions on 'by the glass' wines, including a taste of each until you find the one that suits your palate.

10/10Very good food, lovely lunch. Every dish was very neat and beautifully served. Friendly services , nice that the chefs serve the dishes and provide information. Non-standard flavor combinations (for us from the north part of Europe), which makes it challenging and good fun. Value for money as far as we are concerned. Michelin level. Only point of attention for us is that the wine pairing did not provide a separate wine with each dish, there was some overlap. The chosen (natural) wines were delicious by the way!

9/10Amazing quality food with wonderful service. The dishes that are prepared in the kitchen are presented by the relevant chef with passion. The wine pairing was superb and the sommelier accommodated our specific likes. The lighting in the restaurant felt a little intrusive and perhaps curtains or blinds would help create more of an ambience. However it was a wonderful dining experience and we would certainly return.

10/10One of the best food experiences we have had in Marbella (my wife is Spanish and she has lived here for over 30 years, I am Swedish and have been in Spain for about 7 years). A truly amazing experience both regarding the food and the service. Highly recommended.

9.5/10Our first visit to Kava. This restaurant teeters on the edge of a michelin star in our view. There is just a set 6 course menu with each dish introduced by the chef responsible for cooking it, which was quite novel. The dishes were intricate and beautifully presented and showed real skill. Most courses were served as 3 separate components making up the dish. Our only criticism was that a few of the constituent parts of each dish lacked the flavour expected. But bearing in mind we had maybe 18 of these in total and perhaps 2 or 3 were a bit lacking does not detract from the overall quality and inventiveness of what was very clearly a labour of love from this fine team of chefs. I am sure that star is on its way and will be well deserved. We will of course be back as soon as the menu changes which we were told is every 3 months. Perfect.

10/10We were so fortunate to find Kava and experience the “brilliance” of their kitchen & wine pairings with our “small menu”. Each course (including two unexpected one) was elegant, unbelievably flavourful, and almost “refreshing”. The fusion with Asian spices and Spanish vegetables / fish / meat was playful. Wine pairings were Spanish & displayed the full breadth of this amazing country’s gifts. Please come during this quiet season to enjoy their full attention. What a find!!!

10/10The rest and service of this restaurant was a warm welcome in our Golf Holiday. We were served in an easy pace and I like the wineglasses being filled in a way the bottle took a long time to be emty. Food was delicious and looked like small presents. The cheescake was the best we ever tasted. Highly recommended in the heart of Marbella.
