Food was amazing and service was good! Even though it was very busy, they take their time to explain the dishes. It was a bit too mich for us, but that was a good thing, because we took the left overs home so we got to enjoy the food twice!

We went to eat with a friend ordering the Keraton Damai rice table. It was not our fist visit. Staff even recognized us.
Our friend likes spicy food, so we asked for some mild spicy dished. The shrimps sate and one of the beef dishes turned our to actually be quite spicy. So fortunately we didn't go for a higher degree of spiciness.
Overall all the saté were very delicious. The same actually applies to all the other vegetable (side)dishes.
The staff was friendly, explaining each dish.
The amount was....a lot! We barely finished everything ;)
The only downside is that the choice of desserts is quite mediocre, as was the non-alcoholic coconut-drink.
But don't let that ruin an impression of a true Indonesian food experience!!

Excellent food with good attentive service - slightly slow tonight but there was a full house when we arrived. Food it the most authentic pure Indonesian (e.g. NOT Chinese - Indonesian) we have had in The Hague and that is after having lived in Jakarta for 4 years.
