3.5/10Firstly it was freezing in the restaurant The steak was fatty and was mostly left and not eaten It’s really disappointing that your main courses come with new potatoes and some very undercooked carrots and yet when we requested to have chips with our steak instead of boiled potatoes which are a very strange choice , if you’re having steak,, we were told we would be charged £9 extra per portion of chips, which we did pay for but it seems ridiculous that you can’t swap one potato for another given that most people want steak with chips and it felt just a moneymaking scheme in our opinion Wouldn’t return

7/10Service was good but I was a bit disappointed with the food.. pate was lovely but brioche with it was not. monk fish was tough and the steak was nice but not fantastic which I was expecting for the price. We were also charged for a champagne cocktail that I didn’t have.

10/10We visited Kerridge’s Bar and Grill for Father’s Day and were so pleased to find no limited menu for the day. We had an amazing meal and were left alone for the afternoon and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We will definitely return and had the best roast potatoes ever!

10/10Having arrived very early, we were welcomed to sit in the bar whilst we waited for our table. Service for drinks were first class, a wide selection of drinks available. The dining staff were very friendly and again a first class service. Food was amazing and will definitely be returning.

4/10The food was quite underwhelming. Three of us ordered the goats cheese starter, pig head and crab pot and aside from the crab, the starters were either too salty or just in general not impressive. The mains ordered; fish and chips and the duck were equally disappointing. The fish was overcooked and the batter was steeped in oil - overall I was quite disappointed especially as the food was quite expensive.

7/10Had high hopes given this is Kerridges but felt disappointed. The restaurant and bar is beautiful and well appointed. The staff were very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Unfortunately, the food was the let down, Starters okay though I was brought goats cheese rather than feta which was changed. We opted for a shared sirloin as our mains and, it was one of the most tasteless steaks we've ever had. The sides were good, in fact the cabbage had more flavour than the meat. I am sure other dishes would have been tasty but for the price paids I'd have wanted better quality and flavour to be able to fully recommend.

9/10The food was tasty and accessible , although very expensive, which wasn’t unexpected. Service was good, a little too attentive initially, but it relaxed. We all agreed that we were left to enjoy our afternoon at leisure which was appreciated. A very comfortable and relaxing restaurant which allowed us to chat and take our time. We are likely to return.

10/10Everything was wonderful from start to finish. My mushroom risotto with hens egg was absolute perfection and my husband had the prawn scotch egg, which is his favourite starter! Our mains and sides were also delicious. I do highly recommend the blackcurrant soufflé for dessert! All in all, a perfect evening!

6/10The food was over-complicated and too highly flavoured. We had the Terrine and Crab to start. The chicken in the Terrine had a slightly unpleasant flavour. Neither of us finished our starters (something we just about never do). We had venison skewers and duck for mains. The duck was beautifully cooked but the dish as a whole didn't quite work, and some was left. The Venison was very nice with one of the sauces, but there were lots of other components with contrasting flavours which made it hard to know what to combine in one mouthful. The roast cabbage quarter was excellent, but why cover it in two sauces which had to be scraped off before it could be enjoyed? Neither of the mains were finished.

9.5/10We visited Kerridge's for a very late dinner (21:30) and had a lovely meal. Service was excellent, but there were a couple longer gaps because the restaurant was about to close and workers were trying to do sidework -- we understood. Atmosphere is beautiful, and I wished there was a guide to all the artwork. Order the scallop starter if you like seafood -- it's a spectacle and extremely tasty! Only thing we didn't love were mustard greens in sea bass entree; otherwise everything was excellent.
