Burnt vegetables, deep freeze uncooked fritjes , inexperienced staff, medicro food. If you are 5 you are seated at the edge of the table, and edge of table cloth.

The restaurant has pretensions to be fine dining but isn't. My smoked duck breast starter was assembled from moderate quality ingredients with little work from the kitchen. The duck breast itself had the look and texture of supermarket ham. The main course of veal medallions was unbalanced. The veal was excellent but the jus was much too strongly flavoured and overpowered the veal. And it's never a good sign when all mains come with fries and vegetables. The fries were good but the vegetables were not a good match for the veal. Apart from that it was great.

Great meal overall. The staff was attentive to our wishes. They were very open to adjust the option to us and always asked for our preferences. We opted for the 3 course menu with the small volume wine pairing. The main dish was perhaps a bit boring, although it had an interesting variety of boiled vegetables with some tasty sauces. The winner of the night was really the semifreddo desert and the muscat desert wine which ended the evening on a great note.
