10/10I chose Kishmish because the chef has a railway curry on the menu and it was close to the Riverside Theatre where we were going to see a play (12 minute walk). I was entertaining my sons in laws from Singapore and they were very impressed to experience Indian food. Our host (the owner) was attentive and very proud of his restaurant (the family has been running a food business since 1965) and rightly so as the food was excellent. My only slight disappointment was the vegetable Balti side dish but this was compared against the melt in the mouth lamb shank rogan josh and the butter chicken crafted to an English palate so not swimming in ghee and the Goan Jhinga prawn curry. Everything was very good but the Vote was that the Railway curry was the best! Our host even replaced a naan as it went cold (too much chatter from us) which was beyond the usual service. All in all a real find and though off the beaten track worth a visit.

7.5/10Lovely food, cooked well, presented nicely. Prices were very reasonable except drinks which were heavily overpriced. There were also foods unavailable which were on the menu which was disappointing. Would definitely go back.

9/10The food was delicious and the service was attentive and friendly. Really, it was excellent. The only slight drawback was the constant opening and shutting of the front door due to the constant deliveries coming and going. But otherwise highly recommended.

9/10Very nice and cosy place. The service was professionnal and friendly. The food was good, we enjoyed the various dishes, served in generous portions. Please note that the don't serve alcoohol, but you can still get non alcooholic beers.

10/10This restaurant serves a wide selection of authentic dishes. The service is wonderful. It’s a cosy place with only a few tables so it has an intimate feeling. They only serve non alcoholic wine which is actually very good indeed.

10/10Tried Kishmish for the first time and everything was excellent, the service by TIPU was 1st Class. All the dishes are perfect especially the lamb shank rogan josh, the meat is tender and the sauce is perfect. Will visit again soon.
