Very good prices and staff but food was just ok. Cleanliness and smells inside the local they leave much to be desired- we left smelly with old oil.

First time we tried Suriname cuisine and we were delighted. We asked for advice on what was typical and the girl suggested the saoto soup and a roti, and they were amazing. Big doses as well. To drink we tried the coconut dawet, that was also a success.

The staff are friendly. The ambient is bit noisy but understandable as it’s a busy day. But service speed is subpar and the food could be warmer. Both protein and noodle/rice feels cold and been sitting there for a while. We had better experience at koko and hope next time it’s good quality again.

Good authentic food, freshly prepared. Generous portions. Very kind service, they just changed the menu so there was a bit of confusion but everything was solved in a perfect way. Cosy small place . Recommended

Didn’t get a table. Stood around for 20 minutes being ignored by the staff, who knew i had a reservation but treated us as an annoyance. No clue if the food is good, never got to find out.

We were seated no worries, firstly I noticed the cutlery was smeared with some white stuff and had clear food spots on them. I gave mine a good wiping. They door was kept open for ventilation but people kept leaving it wide open and it got cold quickly. The draft bothered customers around us also, who repeatedly closed it again. We waited a pretty long time for our meals. Our beer was seemingly from a room temperature beer can because it was flat, and warm, despite taking about a half hour to come, the table and menu were also sticky and my partners plate was greasy and really dirty when the food came out. I ordered a chicken burger which was the cheapest foot smelling attempt at a burger I think I’ve ever paid to eat.. I had three bites and my senses urges me to stop.. the chicken in the burger was bluntly the worst grade you could possibly find at the supermarket. Didn’t resemble real chicken at all. We noticed wine glasses on the floor. We looked over at other customers and they were all in the same boat. Complaints were made around the board. I’m not sure what these reviews here represent because our experience was wildly different. We travelled an hour to come for dinner so it was really disappointing and I would love a refund. Reined date night to be honest :(

The food was of a variable quality. Some dishes okay, some far too fatty. Kitchen didn’t look clean, table was not clean when we came, I had to ask to wipe it, then I was given dirty cutlery.
