I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This is an amazing restaurant with insanely creative traditional Japanese dishes. The chef is very humble and sweet and so is the rest of the staff. To be honest I don’t know why this restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin star yet.

整体口味很咸，菜品口感层次不够。这次去可能是秋天主题的原因，每道菜都有菌类，菌类吃多整个人很不舒服，建议秋天主题换一下食材。这次我们并没有安排在吧台，而是角落挨近楼梯口的位置，体验感极差。120欧一个套餐，如果没有吧台主厨的技能表演，我觉得这顿饭只值60欧。

I am a returning guest. As we are not able to travel to Japan, this is the closest you can get to an authentic kaiseki dinner experience. The food is deliscious and artistically presented, the service is impeccable. If you are lucky to get a seat by the counter, the chef is an excellent showman and creates great ambience. I can't recommend this place highly enough and I can't wait for my next meal there.

First of all Komatsubaki is located at one of the best location which is on Champs-Elysées. And the moment when we entered, it really felt very authentic and super clean. Restaurant is on the second floor, with properly arranged seats. We booked at the bar to see all the process of the chef preparing dishes. And it definitely worths it! Chef explained every time when he serves a dish to us and they were always super nice. In a word it’s really a great experience instead of just a restaurant! :)

Great omakase and quality ingredients. Service was very good. My only wish was that I could able to sit at the sushi counter however that was all booked up already because of 1M social distancing. Servers all wear face masks and super friendly and professional. Will return and have already made another reservation!

Traditional japanese restaurant, the chef explained to us every time every dish we had on the dinner menu. I will definitely come back, the food was extremely tasty and different from what you can have in a "europeanized kitchen".

Celebrated our engagement dinner here. Despite us being a first timer the chefs and staff were so kind, we had an unforgettable experience! The repertoire of food was absolutely beautiful and exquisite; each dish was authentic and eye-opening. Most of all the kindness and friendliness of the whole staff really shined through and made us feel at home. We will be surely be back in town to visit them; thank you for an amazing night!

I am so glad we found this little gem for my husband’s birthday. We have struggled with finding authentic Japanese or Asian-style restaurants in Paris after living many years in Asia. This was a true Tokyo experience, from the small and focused atmosphere to the courteous service to the absolutely fantastic food experience. We had the sushi menu and the progression of the meal from start to finish was great. From a very progressive amuse bouche inside a hollowed onion, to an extraordinary original winter themed dish with fish, aubergine and homemade tofu to a set of primarily traditional but very well executed sushi with fresh wasabi and beautiful ginger. For a special experience reminiscent of Japan we would highly recommend it. And great sake!

A charming bit of Kyoto in Paris, top notch kaiseiki meal, seasonal , beautiful and tasty. My only complaint is that i was seated between a patron and the wall at the counter when there was plenty of seating elsewhere. The waitress had to crawl over me to fill cups and clear. It was uncomfortable and for the price, the guest comfort should have been considered.

Lovely Japanese Restaurant situated in the heart of Paris. We had the 10 course tasting menu for €120 and each course was lovingly prepared in front of us have a friendly chef. Each of the courses are fine food usually consisting of sashimi or other fish prepared with a wide righty of exotic ingredients. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
