We enjoyed our meal here a lot! The Fischteller was very good - nice to be able to try different types of fish. The Schnitzel was also very tender. Generous portions too.

The photos don’t even make the place justice, what a beautiful gem in Hamburg! The service was exceptional, they were the most lovely staff we have ever had in a restaurant. We ordered one of the fish dishes and it was so delicious. And all surrounded by the lovely setting, a rustic old house, super cosy and relaxed. We will come back!

We visited here when we were in Hamburg in 2019 and remembered it fondly. We had supper there last night and it was wonderful. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was great. We had a delightful waiter. We’ll certainly go back the next time we’re in Hamburg.

A cracking recommendation, great personal service, food was wonderful, had their house starter, filet of Marie, tasty fish, then the schnitzel as it was recommended, so much I could barely eat it, and potatoes so tasty, I wanted the recipe. overall a wonderful experience is beautiful surroundings

I had heard that eel soup is a special fish for Hamburg and so gave it a try. Unusual but great at the same time. The schnitzel is some of the best we have ever eaten. Such and amazing time capsule hidden away in a quiet street. An oasis of calm and gorgeous German food. Staff were lovely and service was great as well.
